Jennifer Moen I have been going to Sabrina regularly for years. She is the best! Not only is she a great hair stylist, but she is an awesome person too! Whether its a cut, root touch up or highlights, she does a great job, and is always consistent. She listens and offers honest and valuable opinions and suggestions. Love her salon, and now her boutique too. Would highly recommend!

Stacey Beagle Sabrina has been doing my hair for probably 8 or 9 years now. She is my go-to girl! Sabrina has an undeniable passion for what she does and for helping people look and feel their best! She has a creative vision that I trust whole heartedly which has allowed me to try many different colors and styles throughout the years. She offers an honest and professional opinion whenever I have a question about anything hair and beauty related. Her salon serves as a peaceful oasis that I enjoy visiting when I need some "me time". Sabrina always goes the extra mile and has come through for me several times when it comes to accommodating my busy schedule. I will always refer others to Sabrina for the highest quality salon experience. She is the BEST! :)

I called and then drive here only to be told the woman who answered the phone simply mustnt exists as the one I was talking with at that point proceeded to tell me she was the only owner...and that its only owned by one person, and that they did *not* do perms. I wasnt sure how accurate the information I was receiving was, however I did double check the number and address sadly all lined up, I hope your experiences here are better than mine!!

neha kapil Kathy is awesome. She was very polite and patient with my 20 months old baby. She did my trim, color and highlights. Even accommodate highlights tone where I was uneasy with light blonde, she made it little darker which I really love. Place is very clean. Highly recommend it.

Sabrina Crystal is wonderful. She does my hair. But she also cuts my autistic sons hair. He loves going to her.

Robmattjoe Cate My sister and I went together, my sister had an appointment she called and Crystal H. was more then happy to fit me in, it was my first time, and I loved my new hairdo, my sister swears by her for color and cuts, she was also very friendly, she took the time to make sure of exactly what I wanted, before she took out her scissors

Kathy Penfold I just had a Bliss Facial with MaryAnn and it was wonderful!! She is so kind and cheerful! The products she used were very nice, and although I occasionally I have issues with scents, nothing bothered me. She told me every step of the way what she was doing, what products she used and how they were beneficial to my skin type. I feel so spoiled!

Meg Joos The estheticians/beauticians at Beauty and Bliss Spa really know how to make you feel pampered! The business is lovely, the prices are reasonable and the services are remarkable! There is plenty of parking and the hours fit well! I especially love the facials that Maryann and Kelly give!

Kayla Ferraro Great experience. Just had my hair cut and colored for the first time at the location. Everything came out great, I love my color and cut. Britney was very kind and professional. Plus, she was working with a terrible box dye I attempted on myself. In addition to all this, the decor was even beautiful. My overall impression was amazing and I will be returning for my next appointment!

Natalie R Nicolle is hands down the best hair stylist! I’ve been going to her on and off for many, many years. I have moved around within the capitol region and have tried going to other hair stylists that were closer to me, but nothing ever compared to the work that Nicolle does. She is the only one that I have completely trusted with my hair over the years. She has incredible attention to detail, is a genuine human being, and takes the time to ensure that each client is taken care of and has an excellent individual experience. I was so excited to see she had opened her own business!! It’s difficult to find a hair stylist that will give you the results that you’re looking for, and she far exceeds expectations. Elyse Kerschner Nicolle is the unicorn of hair stylists! She always makes my red hair look natural with dimension. I live in NYC and will only let her touch my hair. The salon is bright and sunny with upscale decor. Both Nicolle and her partner Britney are highly skilled in the most up to date and fashionable cuts and colors. My scalp is sensitive to many hair treatments and they only use high end products that have never bothered me. I can’t recommend Poppy Beauty enough!!

Beverly Henderson I get my hair done by Rachel. She is the best! I am never ever disappointed when I leave the salon! She greets everyone with a big hello and smile and knows everyone by name. I would recommend her and her salon to anyone. My friend nows goes to Rachel and is so happy with her too!

Samantha Sutfin Made an appointment with this salon a week in advance and when I came in the stylist never showed up. Waited 20 minutes no show. Other staff offered no help other than giving me her card to text her myself. Lousy business model. Will never go back.

Rissa Cromwell Moved with Salon owner from Brooklyn to Schenectady New York and I would follow her magic hands anywhere. She does what’s best for your hair individual and doesn’t follow society lack of standards and regular beauty styles. She’s a true cosmetologist and has magic hands that make your hair grow from the time she touches it. While I do go to other stylist, as a master stylist and teacher she trains everyone that works in her salon and the great customer service continues even when she isn’t around. 5 stars.

jean vincent I have been going to Amae since 1999. She is very talented in her field and takes great care to listen to your ideas and wants. I have used her for all my haircuts and coloring and am very happy with the work she does.She is also does massages, skin care and nutrition.

CRYSTAL DEMATTEO Simply the best!! Dan does an amazing job every time. He is friendly and really listens to what you want while also making great suggestions. The entire salon is clean and comfortable. The other staff are wonderful as well. Dan also cuts my kid’s hair and he gives them the star treatment making them feel beautiful and confident.

Cori Schinnerer I’ve been going to Dan at Symetry for years and he does such a fantastic job with the cut and color on my hair! I feel fantastic every time I leave. The rest of the staff are so friendly and prices are extremely fair, too!

penny donnelly Jordan Woods gave me the best hair cut & high lights ever. A perfect transition from unhealthy hair to a beautiful healthy head of hair!!! I recommend Jordan Woods to any & everybody that is looking for a Great haircut, color, highlights.... Atmosphere is above & beyond comfortable & gorgeous salon. They offer robes & beverages. Brian Dumesnil One of the best around! Dan has been cutting my hair for 10 years. The staff at Symetry are a great team. The salon is clean and inviting and has an array of great products to purchase.

Judith Hawkins Heather is the owner of the Salon and she is my stylist. For years I have been asked who does my hair and that’s because she takes great care of my hair and the health of my hair. She is great at what she does and always makes you feel valued when you are in her chair. She’s exceptional and I don’t think that is a hair challenge that would ever be too complex for her to take on! If she isn’t available one of the other professionals in her place would be able to assist as well. Heather takes great care in hand selecting the crew under the Salon X roof. She truly is one of the best!

Jessica Holmes Jeanette is the best! Nails it every time. This is the first and only time I found someone who can give me exactly what I want every time. No one else can touch my hair but her!!! Absolutely recommend. 10/10

AMA 19 Asked for blonde bob walked out 3+ hours later with damaged brown Rachel hair from 1992 for $250.00- sides cut 4" uneven No refund despite complaint. Luckily able to get it partially fixed at a strip mall salon for $45- So much for hair stylist who teach hairs school from the 80s- now its a 12 month grow out. Thanks for a hassle- X

Claude R The best salon experience ever. I was feeling anxious, excited, and nervous because I was doing the big chop. Lavida is the best at what she does. She was amazing, professional, knowledgeable, I can go on and on, but by the time she was done, I had tears in my eyes because I was so happy with what she had done with my hair. I also left confident because she let me know exactly what I needed to take care of my hair moving forward. Lavida made the experience of doing the big chop so painless and I left Coiled feeling amazing. I will definitely be back for a shaping in a few months. New home for my hair is Coiled. You should make it yours too. Lavida is AMAZING!!!!!

McKalie Koonce Went a few years ago & forgot to leave a review. Charged me over $300 for a “curly cut” and basically gave me a trim & then finger curled my hair. Extremely expensive and honestly not worth it.

Amanda Rider Lavida is everything youd ever want from a curly hair specialist and more! She is knowledgeable, patient and a true artist. I was nervous about the cut but she worked her magic and i love it! Thank you for making me feel like I can figure this curly hair world out! I cannot recommend Coiled Salon enough!

Nicole Conklin Such a pleasant experience. Lavida was easygoing, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made me feel right at home. She was very thorough and my hair came out amazing. I’d prefer a slightly softer hold to the gel than what she used, however, she instructed me how to achieve that while still using the same product. I can’t wait to try it myself! I will definitely be returning.

Alyssa Marie Lavida is truly, undoubtedly talented!! Definitely go to her if you want a fresh start with your curls. Everything about your visit from start to finish is customized to address your specific hair type, challenges and goals. It’s ridiculously difficult to find curly/natural hair specialists in upstate NY but I’m so glad I finally found my holy grail salon!

Amanda Bigg As a first time client, my experience was not good. I set up an appointment with lady and Her coworker ended up doing my hair. He really didnt seem to confident in doing a 1 row braid less sew-in. After a week The hair and the beads ended up coming out. I contacted her through Instagram, which her communication skills are absolutely terrible. She takes hours to days to respond. She told me she would personally fix my hair at no charge. Once again we went back-and-forth through Instagram to figure out a day for me to come in which took days and days and days for her to respond she told me she would work around my schedule and to give her my Availability and when I told her a day and time she told me she couldn’t do that day because she was moving. I just gave up and took a loss of $180. I would not recommend this salon and I will not be going back.

Nia Williams I came in 10/13 to get a silk press and let me tell you, my hair has so much heat damage. It is so disappointing because I have came here times to time and never had a problem. As a black girl, my hair is my crown so when it gets damaged it’s so frustrating. The service I got was so unprofessional and I left with burn marks on my forehead and scalp. I think this is a great salon but it needs a little more professionalism in natural hair and silk presses!!

Ceonnie Ashanti I recently went twice and both times people who came AFTER ME (the second time it’s was 3 women who all came after and were sitting in chairs before me and they just so happened to be Hispanic while I’m black)finished before me and both times I had to leave with my hair halfway done(and by half way I mean literally only dried)because I’d been sitting there for 2+ hours already. This has only happened when the blonde haired woman was there. When Maritza herself does my hair it’s no problem whatsoever. I think the woman is her sister idk nor do I care because at this point I will not be returning.

brenda cooper My experience was okay, I was not really happy about the fact that I have to bring my own hair bobby pins just to get my hair in pin up curls instead of rocking out my hair..and I also was charged 2 different prices both times Ive been..Im not sure why..maybe my hair grew ..overall it was okay
