Leah Breeyear Tara is my stylist! I have been up and down the Northway searching for the perfect blow out. My hair is curly, oily, and frizzy, but I swear I left the salon feeling sleek and sexy, aka, a million bucks. I have been viewing Taras beautiful transformations all over my timeline and on Instagram for years. I finally had the chance to experience her magical touch in September of 2020. When I sat in the chair, she asked "so what are we doing today?!" I literally told her I want to look like a babe, and BAM, she delivered. Not only was I happy with the result, she was transparent on her pricing before I arrived and made me laugh the entire time. Thanks Tara!!

Pat Gross Tara @ Svana Salon on East Ave across the street from touring Street trail is marvelous. She has been doing my hair for about 9 years now and Im not going anywhere else. Shop is clean and spacious. Try it, youll like it!

Meesh F Megan B. is fantastic with highlights and cut. I never had my hair colored until age 49 but seen her work and it looked so natural I gave it a shot a couple years ago, and I don’t regret it at all! I have natural curly hair and her trims are always top notch to revive my curls but to also be able to have body when or if I straighten it. She also did mine and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding all by herself and everyone loved their hair! Highly recommend Meg!

CB Peace I had Highlights and a haircut by Pam B. Shes excellent with cuts, colors, highlights, styling and (and other treatments to) shes been doing my hair for several years. She cares about her customers and has a great personality. The salon is clean, friendly team and plenty of parking! Check them out.

Deja yancy I really like it here. Truly. Michelle is a great hair dresser and does a beautiful job on my roller sets. Reasonably priced, great conversation, clean, and takes her time.

Ballston Spa Great salon! In the heart of Ballston Spa on Front street. I go for haircuts so I cant speak about other services, but the prices are very good and the staff are professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Doris King Managed to get a same day appointment when traveling and they were kind enough to even let me know that an earlier one opened up. Excellent hair cut from a lovely lady.

Bob Marino Have been going here for many years for haircuts from Katie. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Very nice surroundings, comfortable and relaxing. A great addition to the village of Ballston Spa!

Anna So I came in to get a ombré done.. well let’s just say the girl that did my hair mixed one color.. I still had grays and the cut was beyond horrible.. I’m not a hair dresser by any means but by the way she was cutting my hair I was just cringing.. when it was all over and she charged me 200 bucks for some damn highlights that were way to light for me, and it was suppose to to be a ombré appointment.. omg.. never again!! Never again!!!

Rhonda Granito Possibly one of the best hair experiences I have ever had. Knowledgeable, professional, and a beautiful setting to boot. I highly recommend.

Crystal Lambui Rachel was an hour late. Botched my hair. Tried to get me to spend another $50 to fix her mistakes. Do not recommend at all.

Melissa Ward-Rathbun The first time I visited, I was a walk in. Jamie took great care of me. Ive been going back ever since. My last visit was for nails. The owner and staff a very friendly, professional and obviously enjoy what they do.

Vera Salvatore Jenn is awesome!!! She did a fantastic job once again! Love seeing this lady!!! Great hair, amazing time, cannot ask for more!!! Highly recommend Jennifer and the salon!!!

Lauren Capozzi Ariana was my hair stylist for my wedding in Saratoga Springs and I cannot recommend her enough! She did mine and my mom’s hair and Lindsay did my bridesmaids and they did an incredible job! Ariana was so helpful and wonderful to work with. She setup a hair trial for both myself and my mom and made the process so stress free! She gave great recommendations on hair extensions and ideas for different hair styles and leading up to my wedding day I knew my hair would be in great hands. The morning of my wedding getting ready, Ariana truly took her time and made sure every little detail was perfect. My hair came out exactly as I hoped for and lasted the ENTIRE night. I stress this because I have long, fine hair that never holds a curl and about an hour after it’s styled it falls out. But however Ariana worked her magic, my hair was perfect the entire day as was my mom’s and my bridesmaids. Everyone was so happy with their hair and I cannot recommend Ariana and LaLume enough if you are looking for stylists for your wedding!

Scott L Elle is absolutely amazing!!!! She made me feel beautiful and refreshed. The whole experience was exceptional. The salon was luxurious and felt like you belong the moment you step in.

lauren marie This is a beautiful, clean, comfortable, stylish salon with really knowledgeable and talented staff, a convenient location and tons of parking. I cant say enough good things about Natasha the extensions specialist. I cannot even feel my extensions, they are meticulously placed and the way the hair lays looks totally natural. Highly recommend!!

Leah Ferrone I love this place. Ive been seeing Sarah for three years now. I was referred to her by a close friend and have recommended her to everyone. When I started going to Sarah I was trying to grow out a short cut I had received elsewhere. She was in it for the long haul and really guided me with the style and color while growing it out. I love her insight and professionalism - - she is honest and thorough and I always leave feeling amazing! I get so many compliments on my hair, especially the color (balayage). Also, the new LaLume salon is GORGEOUS, everyone is lovely and they have great snacks :)

Kristen Padilla Sarah Whitney is basically a magician. I have been seeing her for my hair for over 7 years and I hope I can continue going to her forever! I love having a hairstylist I can trust, and I can let have free reign to make me look and feel fabulous. And she delivers! Shes efficient and a perfectionist in the best possible way. No matter the hair color or cut, she knocks it our of the park every time. Anyone I have sent to her gushes over how their hair came out. On top of all that, shes so easy to talk to and makes every appointment so enjoyable. Thank you Sarah!

Shiary Shimada-Solis Laura is the best stylist you can ever have! She’s an expert and super honest with her clients. I appreciate her honest opinions with what will work for my hair and what will not. She’ll not do things just for the money but works to make her client happy and satisfied with the outcome that they will get. She also is a very nice person she would make you feel comfortable. I recommend her 100%!

Ellie Fitzgerald I have been coming here for a few years now and seeing Brianna Phillips, she does such an amazing job! I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair but I do like the occasional glow up and she knows exactly what to do every time. I am honestly SO grateful I found Blue Peregrine and Brianna when I moved back to the area from NYC. In addition to great hairstyling, the studio is a great vibe all around. I have received highlights and balayage, haircut and blow outs, always leave feeling gorg. Dont sleep on this place!

Lindsay Johnstone I had a really great experience here on a friend’s recommendation. Amanda went above and beyond to find the perfect highlight for me (natural & low maintenance, but fun for summer). The salon is cute, and the music was great which was a bonus. Highly recommend!

Krissy and Chloe offer such a welcoming, relaxed environment in their salon, something we all could use more of in our lives! I have been a client of Krissys for over 15 years now and would not even consider having someone else touch my hair (aside from Chloe, of course!). Krissy is highly trained in EVERYTHING hair and it shows in her work. Not only do I rely on Krissy for my regular cut and colors, but she also did my hair for my wedding with not one, but two styles! We decided on a half-up style for the ceremony and then she quickly made the seamless transition to a full updo for the reception! I promise, you cant go wrong when you use these girls!

Jeline Rivera Well I don’t know where to start. I’m so disappointed to say the least. I went into this salon and met with Yvette (whom seemed offly rude and not in the mood when I arrived). I had gone in for a shape up of my natural curls since they were to my shoulders and in need of ends refreshing. I of course, trusted a second-tiered deva curl “specialist”. Take a look at my hair now. $79 later. Disgusting

Claire Burke Amazing salon! I have been twice now for a Deva cut, and I cannot recommend them enough for women with curly hair. I went in yesterday for a bit of a difficulty cut- a blunt curly bob- and I could not be happier with it!! Angela did an incredible job. If youre looking for a salon with amazing stylists who really listen to your wants and know how to treat your hair texture, this is the salon for you.

Christy H. Alexander These gals are great! I have been a client for several months now and I always look forward to going. The atmosphere is light and positive with multiple opportunities to laugh and enjoy each others company. As for their professionalism and service, they are top notch! I have naturally curly, short hair so its important to me to have a professional with experience in curly hair cuts-Im never disappointed.

The salon is exceptionally clean and the parking lot is directly across from the salon. Coffee, tea and snacks are provided if you wish to have them. Susan Horton Doris was fantastic, she sat down with me before the process and really discussed how things were done, what would look good and how it would look as it grew out. Doris also kept me well informed throughout the whole process and really made me feel comfortable and important. The salon was very clean and Covid compliant. What I liked most about Fusion Salon was the friendly, yet very professional atmosphere there. I loved that the stylists were NOT talking to each other about their personal lives across the booths and ignoring clients . FIVE ⭐ Stars for Fusion Salon, would definitely recommend them!

Unicorn dolce dog Productions Five years ago or so I got my hair done here and I did like it but for whatever reason I didn’t continue at this salon and found another salon now fast forward to now I tried in June to make an appointment and the owner would not respond to my emails or my phone calls finally I said if you don’t make me a reservation for September I will come in there and make a scene so they called and left a message saying none of there stylist are available not even in September they have clients and won’t ever be available so I posted the message to Yelp and the owner message me on Yelp and told me she contact the police and said I threaten her when I never did and then she said the police are aware of me well my sister in law sister dates a police officer so yes I know some of the cops and back in the day I use to drink with some of them so I am sure they are aware of me lol what she may not be aware of is I reported her to the board of cosmology and human rights boom ! Your move !

Kelly Madden My hair can be challenging and Fusion always rises to the challenge. I completely trust Fusion to keep my hair looking good and healthy. They know what theyre doing! The salon is spotless; the staff is professional, while keeping a fun and enjoyable atmosphere! Eileen Fluty Adrianne is a magnificent hair stylist! I lost most of my hair due to a 10 month covid hospital stay. It was awful. Adrianne cut my hair and styled it to make it look Like I had hair! There wasnt much to work with. Now about 4 months later my hair is fuller and growing in beautifully due to her talented hair care. Adrianne is fantastic with the right color for your hair. I am on oxygen due to covid and she makes sure that I am so comfortable and cared for. I simply love Fringe Hair Salon!

Sarah B $65 for a TRIM. I just needed 1-2 inches trimmed off and my curtain bangs trimmed. $65!!!!! This was before tip so it was $78 in the end! Their prices advertised seem reasonable, but I feel like I got robbed.

Sarah Stolz I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon. This was my first time here and I must say they now have a forever client. From the minute I stepped in, it was clean and inviting. The staff was extremely nice and make you feel comfortable right away. Now comes the important part, how do they do on hair? Jodi was my stylist and she was beyond amazing!! She listened to what I was looking for and totally transformed my hair to even better than I could have imagined. She was meticulous and spent all the time needed to make sure it was perfect. My hair is naturally curly and can be difficult to cut. Not for Jodi! She cut it correctly to make sure the length was right when curly. She finished off the experience with a blow out that was just incredible. I left the salon feeling fabulous. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Kerry Mincher I have been going to Adrian for about a year. I have thick gray hair that is slightly curly. He talks about what I would like and what is actual with my hair. I learned to leave the decision to him. All my cuts grow out slowly so it’s not high maintenance.

Kendra Greene I went in today knowing I wanted a change in color for fall. I had so many inspo pictures but we ended up doing something completely different and more budget friendly. I was nervous at first but my hair is so shiny and has the perfect tone of purple in it. There was a very small part of my Hair that didn’t take to the color that honestly wouldn’t have noticed. It was very professional of Jennifer to offer to fix because it wasn’t anything she did wrong, just my hair not cooperating a bit. I have gotten so many compliments already!! Michael Salotto Wonderful staff at Nurture! They were incredibly accommodating when we had last minute changes and had to bring our dog. The massage was excellent, I could feel the tension in my shoulders melt. I cant recommend this place enough!

Lara Manti Salon is beautiful and clean! Very high end, professional stylists who know how to care for your hair and skin. Andrea is a superb colorist. I have so many compliments on my hair color and style. She is super nice and is passionate about her work. Highly recommended!! I also highly recommend Crown Salon for your next blowout. The chairs are massage chairs along with amazing scalp massage. Gregory is also awesome!

Brittney Engelmann The moment Brittany sat me down she cared not only about what I wanted, but educated me on my hair type, how the color would pull, maintenance for the future, etc. I hadn’t had my hair colored in over ten years and she made me feel so comfortable. I knew she was really listening to what my hair vision was/what my concerns were. I showed her a few inspiration photos and, to be honest, my hair far exceeded those photos. I love it so much I cried when Brittany was done. I highly recommend reaching out to her for all of your hair needs. She is fantastic. 10/10 will always recommend.

Megan Christy The salon is nice and so are the people; however, theyre the type of place that does whatever they want to your hair. I walked out with my hair looking absolutely nothing like the picture that I had showed. My hair is WAY too short and she didnt cut any layers, its just blah. Plus I have curly hair, so I have to straighten it (which is terrible for my hair and I cant blow it out the way she did, Im not a hair stylist) otherwise its about an inch shorter and it looks so weird. Not to mention that its extremely overpriced; $60 for a 10 minute hair cut?! Ridiculous. Not returning.

Hilary Oreschnick I have fine thin hair and always wanted long thick hair. I went to see a few people about hair extensions and eventually found Kerri at The Strand. The reason I chose to have she knows so much about what she does and genuinely cares she is doing what is best for your hair. Instead of talking me into lots of extensions, she suggested because my hair is so fine I try two bags to begin with and see how my hair is with extensions. I was much happier with that. Kerri put in Great Lengths Hair Extensions for me yesterday and also gave me a new cut that made my hair look thicker and showed me how to style it. I love my thicker hair and it is a wonderful color. Ill keep going back now.

Cheryl Sovern I see Kerri Tanner and I cannot profess enough how great she is. She is very thorough about her cut and her color. She is really big on additional training and it shows in her knowledge of cuts, colors and products. In addition, she is fantastic with hair extensions. I had some put in last year and I had so many compliments on how great my hair looked (no one knew that I had extensions)! The salon itself is immaculate which tells customers a lot about the salon and those that work there! I would highly recommend The Strand (and Kerri Tanner in particular).
