Went to 2 other dentists for second opinions, said I do not have any of the cavities that this dentist said I had. Awful dentist

Summer Sturdevant Ok I had to write this review - absolutely wonderful lady - the dentist was so kind and honest throughout the entire visit - she told me the truth about my teeth instead of over charging me for work I didn’t need ( thank you ) .. she cleaned my teeth which I didn’t expect nor schedule so thank you also for that - her office was very clean and her receptionist was friendly . I’ll never go to another dentist if I can help It - guys if you can get in to this place (she’s usually not accepting new patient) get in cause your not going find another human like this ♥️

Kathy Abdelaal I cant express the great experience I have every time I visit this dentists office. The staff doesnt rush the appt. They are genuinely kind. They care about people and do the best job on my teeth. Dr. Brown does a thorough inspection after the cleaning while making me feel like a real person, not just one of the patients. From the great hygienist, the caring doctor to the front desk staff, when they take care of me, they give their full attention and dont rush me off to take the next person. Thanks to them all for making my visits so relaxing that I dont even feel like going to the dentist is a chore. Its really a joy!

Jeffrey Edstrom I’ve been going to Dr. coy for many years now on and off. I have a very complicated mouth and very challenging teeth. He’s always kept my mouth in good health and found solutions for very complicated problems that other Dentist would not even consider. I’m in my 60s now. I’ve been to at least a dozen Dentist over my life. He is the best I’ve ever seen. Thank god I found him.

Jarred Barnes I saw Dr Coy years ago and it’s still costing me money to this day. 596$ again on 1/28/25 because of a cavity!!! He failed to clean it out sufficiently then covered it which sent the decay down causing me to need a root canal. Now several years later that root canal has fail which isn’t his fault but the replacement tooth is over 4000$ dollars. So essentially his improper cavity repair cost me a root canal, crown, extraction, implant and another crown to be put on be a real dentist in a few months. Unfortunately at the time there weren’t so many bad reviews available about him but now they are everywhere.

Jeanne Youngkrans I’ve been a patient for over 10 years now and I have decided to find a new dentist. I very seldom see Dr. Coy and my appointments were rescheduled numerous times. I was always used to my dentist checking my teeth after they were cleaned. Not the case with Dr. Coy. I try to go every six months but I’ve gone well over a year, maybe even two years, before I actually see him. He doesn’t seem to show up much.

The dentist office is not a place most of us care to spend ANY time, however, the team at Sauquoit Creek Dental always make the experience, not only bearable, but pleasant. I have spent a LOT of time in the dentist chair, and have had every type of oral restoration you could possibly imagine. So I self-certify as highly qualified to recommend Dr. White without pause, though possibly with much prejudice. The quality of Dr. White’s work is unrivaled and her bedside manner is unlike any I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing… and I have plenty of experience! I would be remiss if I did not also share feedback on the amazing front office team. Todd and Kassie are amazing. They always treat me with the utmost respect and professionalism, but at the same time are so down to earth, making every visit as I said, pleasant!

Dr. Stan and team are hands down, mic dropped and house lights back on, THE BEST dental office around. Their customer service skills are fantastic. Sandy Yocum Doctor and his staff are wonderful. They are all professional, caring, and charismatic. They squeezed me into their schedule despite not being an existing patient. Dr. Stan was very gentle and patient throughout the unexpected procedure necessary to relieve my pain. He was mindful of any discomfort and any concerns a patient may have. A truly unique dental experience; in the most positive way.

Troy Effner Went in for a consult on a Tooth that ive had a problem with for a while. The assistant setting me up took down detailed questions and wrote notes down. When the doctor came in he asked the same questions and never read or talked to the assistant. My expectation for good customer service is the doctor reads the notes before talking to the patient so they have context. When I was confused why he didnt read the notes or talk to the assistant the doctor replied with "You came here, you didnt ahve to come here" which tranlates to I dont need your business. And explains the lack of good customer service. He did look at my teeth and made a reccomendation for extration, but, now I dont know if that was because he wanted to get rid of me or if that was the genuine diagnosis. not getting the feeling these doctors have sworn by the hippocratic oath.

Gianna castelluzzo I just want to thank Dr.Fahey again for being so amazing. I have extreme dentist anxiety and I had to get my first root canal ever. I was a complete nervous wreck coming from the first dentist who sent me over to him. He was absolutely amazing and talked me through the whole thing and made me feel more comfortable throughout the procedure. Thank you again to him and the staff there for being so nice while I was being a bit dramatic. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

Steph I cant comment on their Endodontic services as that wasnt needed but the nurse and doctor were very kind. The doctor explained the issue my family member was experiencing very well. Before I left, I asked the receptionist to email the doctors notes when they were done and provided my email. That was on the 9/3. This Monday the 9th I emailed them asking for the notes. Its been days and nothing. They knew that I needed them to submit to our dental insurance to try getting reimbursement since the appointment was for an emergency. I will update this review if they ever send them.

dexter its not terrible but its not good either. got a filling here a few weeks ago and thought id be fine but a few months later, my teeth hurt like hell. its the same exact tooth i got filled in as well. my tooth feels like itll fall out any minute and whenever i bite into any food (even soft food) it hurts. if this is your only option, then sure id recommend. but if you have other options, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! other then the filling, this place is alright. i wouldve put 2 steps but the staff are super friendly. love the staff lots. theyre pretty awesome.

S R They fail to call back in a timely manner, especially if youre in pain. They dont do root canals and instead send you to a whole other city to one who does, and they dont even check if that specialist takes your insurance. Terrible. Ive worked in a busy medical office before and Ive always called patients back within 24 hours. I dont understand how you can leave several messages and not call back and leave a patient in agony.

Wilier YT The new nurses have terrible manners, no privacy for the child bluntly just asks all the private questions in front of parents. Teens be careful the one I got was blonde fat lady that gets outa breathe when getting up.

Jen Dutcher I have been going to Sitrin since I was a teenager (34 now) I have been through pretty much all the dentists there and I just have to say Dr. Kibuik is one of the absolute best!! She is always so kind and makes you feel comfortable as well as has never hurt me with a needle. Thats something all dentists should take pride in and some just dont care. I highly recommend Dr. Kibiuk!

Brandon Chafin I have been going to Dr. Jackson for years. I have had multiple procedures done ranging from dental implants right down to teeth cleanings. Dr. Jackson and his staff are the best of the best at what they do, you would never be able to put a price on their expertise which makes the people who rated this office 1 star because "its expensive" look unknowledgeable and cheap. You get what you pay for in life and in this case is nothing but superior dental work. I would never go anywhere else. Keep up the great work Dr. Jackson and staff!!

Mike Walsh What an incredible experience! I had lanap surgery with Dr Melnyk about a year ago. I cant say enough about how great the experience was! Dr Melnyk took the time to discuss my options in a very comprehensive manner. He explained my situation in terms I could understand and make an informed decision. The lanap procedure was virtually pain-free, and very successful. I dont think its an overstatement to say that Dr Melnyk saved my teeth! I was on the fence about whether or not to go ahead with the lanap surgery, but truth be told, it was one of the best decisions Ive ever made!

With apprehension and fear I made the first call for an appointment. When I arrived I was met with compassion and kindness from everyone. The professionalism and total care from the initial consultation to today is second to none! Nick Sledziona I had somewhat of an odd experience going here. I sought treatment because I ended up with a small gap in my gumline after completing Invisalign treatment. My regular periodontist in Ithaca said that I needed to find a periodontist that has been trained in the "pinhole" method of gum repair. I looked around and I found several, and I chose to go and see Dr Melnyk because the office staff seemed friendly when I called to ask about their services. I went in for a consultation on August 31st 2023 and Dr Melnyk gave me a treatment outline that called for a surgical procedure following several months of brushing/flossing treatment. We both agreed that I would adhere to a new regimen of brushing/flossing in-order to improve my gum health in the lead-up to surgery. If, after the 6 months of new brushing/flossing regimen, my gumline had not improved in the treatment area, then we would proceed with surgery. I followed the treatment plan exactly as outlined and I came-in for my follow-up check-ups on October 26th and again on November 30th. My gum health had improved significantly, however, when I came in for my appointment on November 30th, Dr Melnyk said that he would not be performing surgery on my gumline. He said "there is no current surgical treatment available" that would fix my gumline. I reminded him that his office provided me with a quote 3 months prior that details a treatment outline which includes a surgical procedure for $1,500. He again reiterated that surgery was not possible for my condition, with no explanation of the $1,500 quote I had been provided. I am completely fine with and comfortable with forgoing surgery on my gumline because its never really been a huge concern for me and my gums have improved over the past 3 months. However, I am just confused and concerned as to why I was given a treatment plan which includes surgery three months prior. What changed in that three-month time span which caused the surgery to no-longer be an option? Sadly, I made three visits and it cost me a total of $325, and I did not end up with the result that I was looking for. I have since made an appointment with a different periodontist located in Rochester.

Wilcor_Shane Going to the dentist has never been such a positive experience until I met Dr. Salina Suy. I had to have bone grafting surgery followed by a tooth implant and the entire process was actually pleasant and my new tooth looks and feels AMAZING!! On the first consultation Dr Suy gave me her direct number should I have any further questions about the operations. Never has any doctor that Ive been in contact with provided that kind of support. 10/10 recommend Dr Sue and the whole Zalatan Team to anyone even my own mother! Thank you so much!! Yeehaww!

Shauna Goldstein I had been less than perfect about my dental care and going to the dentist; I finally got tired of getting tooth infections and bit the proverbial bullet to go to the dentist. I was at ease by the end of the first visit with Dr. Suy and her team. Despite having several bad teeth, they didnt judge me and she was able to pull my decayed wisdom teeth without needing to go under for surgery. Her office is clean and professional, and the pink gloves and mask they use make you feel less like you are in a dentists office. Definitely not afraid of going to the dentist anymore!

Lynn Bladek Dr. Mark has been my dentist for 40 years. Hes the best! In 1980, he saved a tooth another dentist wanted to pull. Hes been my dentist ever since. Dr. Mark, my dental hygienist Linda and the rest of the excellent staff at 29 Herkimer Rd have always been pleasant, efficient, organized, and most accommodating. Not one problem in 40 years.
