Dr Ronan was great, listed to all my concerns, took her time explaining next steps and made sure I was feeling good before I left. My teeth cleaning was great also and I received a great gift. Im extremely pleased with the all around care.

The space was spotless—very clean, neat, and welcoming. A fun bonus: you get to watch Animal Planet while they work on you, which makes the whole experience even more relaxing. Plus, parking is convenient and easily accessible. Highly recommend!

samantha samy Amazing experience from the moment you first walk in. I went for a regular cleaning and check up. The office and lobby are gorgeous and create a very calm environment. Dr. Ronan and all the staff are extremely professional and polite, and Dr. Ronan does a very thorough job. This is the cleanest my teeth have felt in years!

Someone Else A lovely group of dental professionals. Communication was clear and frequent prior to my arrival. The entire facility is clean, well lit and spacious. Care and comfort that are truly unmatched on the island. If you need your wisdom tooth out ASAP, it would be unwise to look elsewhere :)

Amber Haider I had my first appointment with Dr. Napolitano and Jenna. They were extremely caring about my comfort. Talked me through what was going on and what work was being performed. Its a great practice as they work with you on everything and are extremely caring about their patients. Highly recommend them.

Elizabeth Manning I went to this office a few years ago when my previous life-long dentists office was no longer taking my insurance. It was post-COVID and I was told I had 7 cavities. I was absolutely shocked and mortified, but trusted they did the right thing, and I must have been negligent missing appointments. I allowed the to fill 7 cavities over 2 appointments, with one filling being misshapen and when I floss I cant get the floss back out by pulling up, it get stuck. I mentioned this to the dentist and she basically said to leave it and its better that way, less chance of food getting stuck. Eventually my insurance was accepted by my initial dentist again. I had them send over the X-Rays and was told "I see no sign of 7 cavities". Ive never been afraid of the dentist in my life, and that office now has me petrified that a professional would intentionally mess up my teeth with fillings. I am now getting the messed up filling fixed.

Ashley Gatti I have never been to a more well organized, clean, efficient dental office in my life. The staff is very personable and welcoming. Everyone is very kind and helpful. I love the TVs in the chairs, it such an awesome distraction ! I had imaging, a cleaning and then my exam with Dr Cisternas. My entire visit was very thorough and timely. I was in and out with all my questions answered and felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend this office and staff for any and all dental needs ! Finding a Dentist that you feel comfortable with is very hard to find. A really nice touch at the end of the visit is you’re given a warm face towel to get any extra little splatters from your cleaning off.

Lori B I was actually a customer of Dental Association of Staten Island for several years before it became Smilist Dental. The front desk staff: Gabriel, Denise, Christine and Gino are awesome. Josephine or, as I call her, Josie, my Dental Hygienist, and my dentist, Dr.Mark Severino, are truly amazing. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and professional. They treat me like family and go beyond the max to ensure Im okay on all levels. Clean environment and pleasant atmosphere helps create a positive 5 STAR experience.

Winnie Chan Clara was a wonderful hygienist. Polite, personable and detail oriented. A friend recommended me to Dr. Severino. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. You can tell he really cares about his patients. The Check in and check out process was efficient.

Elizabeth Mary Josephine is a sweet and caring hygienist. I was surprised to see that I didn’t see one drop of blood when I spit (after the cleaning). Dr. Severino is nice and reassuring.

Sarita Schoenfeld I moved to Staten Island 2 1/2 years ago I have had major work done on my teeth I found smiles forever dental because I live in Eltingville Staten Island. Dr Dhaliwal a female professional dentist is such a lovely kind and professional dentist. I have always feared the dentist because of bad experiences she is extremely gentle when giving Novocaine I had to have a tooth extraction which was a very difficult one due to the fact that the tooth with fuse to the Bone behind it. She had to call in an oral surgeon and didnt charge me for this amazing surgeon to get my tooth out. On top of all of this I need an upper and lower dentures I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful they are people think theyre either implants or veneers but theyre not and they are very reasonably priced I like her staff as well. Dana one of her assistants is such a nice person and Erica the office manager is absolutely a phenomenal young lady. Shes always eager to answer any insurance questions and is so knowledgeable about all insurance companies and what they cover and I appreciated her professionalism. Alex who answers the phone and make the appointments is also a great young lady I love this place I highly recommend it not only for an adult with her a child who might have the fear of going to a dentist trust me you will not be disappointed visiting this office this might sound a little crazy to you but I actually now enjoy going to the dentist but only under the care of Dr. Dhaliwal and her superb staff. Dental assistant,Raimonda is especially wonderful - very friendly and helpful. She recommended the Venus whitening kit that they have, and I was very happy with the results. Overall, an excellent dentist and excellent team!

Matthew Mirabello Update: 04/21/2025 Back down to 2 stars. Appointment from March was rescheduled by them to April 22nd. I got a call on April 21st asking me to reschedule to June. Office is not actually open at the scheduled hours above. I called and they said that they do not have set weekly hours and it is effectively only "by Appointment" (which can change suddently) Update: 10/4/2024 The owner took the time to schedule me a cleaning visit with one of their dentists. When I arrived I noticed that there was a complete changeover in the staff from my last visit in June. They provided a comfortable experience (cleaning). And listed to my concerns and examined those areas in more detail and let me know my options goign forward. They did not pressure me to take a full set of x-rays, but did take a single x-ray at my request. I am looking forward to my next visit. The owner called me personally to followup. If you have any issues that the office staff are not responding too I would recommend calling the main office number and ask to speak to the owner. (I would also recommend the owner respond to comments here as well, offering to follow up on any recent negative reviews) Update: 9/26/2024 I was able to speak with the owner after I called the main office number, having not recieved a response at all. Initially I ws informed that the office manager at this location would not schedule me to come in or talk with me until I deleted this review. I then clarified that I now urgently needed to speak to the owner since that request is a violation of googles terms of service. I was able to talk to the owner and I explained to them in detail what occured. They were unaware of any of it. They acknowledged that being asked to delete the review to have my complaint considered or be a client again was not appropriate, and they would be talking to their staff about it. They made an appointment for me to see the dentist (not hygenist) for a cleaning. I can update the review after that visit. June/2024 After having an issue and feeling very uncomfortable and unheard I asked to speak to the owner at least 10 times and multiple staff members ignored my request (would not even acknowledge I asked)

Christopher Maklari The dr’s and staff were really great about explaining what was going on with my teeth as well as making me feeling very comfortable. I always had a fear of the dentist, but they sedated me so I was awake but not panicking during the procedures. They also suggested that I see an oral surgeon to remove two teeth when they could have done just one and build me for it. They recommended that I go to an oral surgeon to do with the tooth teeth because they’re more equipped because of where the teeth are by my sinus cavity. so I was very happy with my experience there and this is my second time there it was pain-free. Everyone was very polite. They filled me in on everything that was going on from top to bottom so there were no surprises and I really look forward to going back. For implants I don’t look forward to going back for more cavities. I plan to try to prevent those, but I would recommend this office to one of my friends and anyone I know.

William OConnor Was dealing with dental problems for many years. I never had a good experience with dentists in the past. I was tired of stretching repairs over weeks sometimes months. Unfortunately I let it go for too long and caused more problems for myself. I recently cracked a tooth and decided it was time to finally repair my whole mouth. From the moment I walked into Dr Jason Hechts office his staff made me feel nothing but comfort. I was not embarrassed and they explained the entire procedure in detail and each person that spoke with me reassured me everything would be ok. I am usually very nervous at any Drs office but they made me feel so comfortable, showing me before and after photos of other patients and reassuring me I would not feel a thing. Other than some expected swelling I felt no pain during the extractions and after the procedure. Im still amazed I had a mouth full of teeth within 24hrs. I cant say enough good things about Dr Hecht and his entire staff. I highly recommend them. If you need work go to see them you will not be disappointed! I would give it 10 stars if there was an option

Andres R. I went to get a clean up and they endednup telling me i have a bunch of cavities. The lady did something to my top left tooth which like exposed the nerve or something and I have been getting lots of pain from it. I wouldnt trust anyone here and that is how I feel. Because i went there for something simple and came out worse! My tooth is always in pain and just that 1 specific tooth hurts when brushing my teeth or just hurts in general even if Im not doing anything. She did some type of drilling or cutting on this tooth. There was nothing wrong. Also in my opinion they overcharge. How can I return here? I feel like you all do malpractice.

I had what I thought was an emergency bc my gum in the back of my mouth was hurting & I had no idea why , I actually thought the worst of the worst & a piece of popcorn was stuck under my gum & was removed ( wouldn’t have tried that at home) . I highly reccomend this DDS !

Stevie Fontana I had a terrible experience with this dentist. As a nervous patient, I expressed my anxiety, but the dentists response made me uncomfortable, saying my nerves gets her nervous.thats not something a dentist should say before entering your teeth. During my second visit, she administered a numbing needle that seemed to have been done incorrectly, causing me pain and tears. When I asked if she had accidentally injected my lip, she denied it, stating that the sensation was normal when a nerve is hit. After trusting my dentists expertise, I left the office only to experience more pain than usual, which persisted for hours days. Weeks later, I still feel discomfort when I move. The procedure also left me with a blistered lip inside and outside requiring me to use ice to alleviate the pain. Although I couldnt address the issue at the office due to work commitments, I was more troubled by the dentists dishonesty. She needs retraining before she really does damage.
