Ani Love Music It’s 3/28/25. I walked in to see how much a wash&blowdry would cost. The lady (brown skinned & slim with grey-ish looking long straight hair) told me it would be $70. I immediately questioned the price, she shrugged her shoulders and said “the price is the price.” I questioned the price again and was told that that’s the price for natural hair (my hair isn’t natural, it’s relaxed but I just took braids out). After telling her that my hair wasn’t natural, she gave me almost a disgusted look and asked if my hair was relaxed. I said yes and she questioned why I wanted the style I asked for. Before she could finish “reprimanding” me for my hairstyle choice, I said thanks and just walked out. The price was outrageous but the attitude and rudeness made everything even worse. Places like this, hair salons, nail salons, barbers, lash technicians, etc. have to be very careful how they handle prospective clients. Businesses like this thrive on word of mouth.

Yordana Deleon High price just for wash and set $70. My hair didn’t last more than 1 day because they lady didn’t have a good hand passing the blower, Even tho l stay in the dryer for almost 1 hour.

jade hills Not sure about their other styles, but if you want a silk press do NOT come to this place. I got mines done here yesterday and it is extremely stiff, and it is not silky at all. The haircut is choppy and she bumped my ends which made it look weird when it was time to unwrap my hair. Please, if you want a silk press- this is not the place to go.

Roslyn Dickson Tina did a very good cut on the wig that I brought to the Eternal Beauty of NY Shop. In the future I will definitely bring my wigs there when I need a cut and style. Thank you for your expertise!

Felecia Fullerton Ive known about this salon for a long time, but I thought they only catered to the relaxed, sew-ins, and wig crowd. Due to circumstances, I decided to call them to find out if they did crochet braids, and they did. I was booked with stylist Sunnie for 9am, and she was on time. I was only suppose to have the crochet installed, but she said due to the quality of my scalp, she has to wash my hair first. I agreed after some if and buts. It was the best decision. She washed and deep conditioned my hair while also giving me tips on what products to use and how to better care for my hair. She did not charge extra for the service. She was very kind, friendly and personable. She checked up on me throughout the process, asking if it was too tight. She was fast, but the job was excellent, which I liked. My style turnt out excellent and Im really satisfied with it. I will definitely me going back there, specifically to her. Also, I liked the environment, and the other stylists that were there seemed professional and good at what they were doing based on my laymans eyes. I 100% would recommend this salon, and Sunnie. Im coming back with my mom to get our hair silk pressed. P.S I had crochet faux locs installed after my hair was braided down.

Muhammed Coleman The owner is impatient. My wife came to dye her hair, trusting the journey of going blonde. The kids ownwer said it would take a year. A year into the journey, she’s not blonde but macaroni yellow. She refused to do her hair any more. Every time we came, her prices changed, and then she began to refuse services and had a terrible Attitude. She only good for wash and sets.

ARLENE BUCHANAN Every time I leave, I look and feel like a million bucks! They always do a great job with my hair. As a natural gal, its nice to go straight and not worry about chemicals in my hair. Not everyone can do an impressive blowout.

Naryensi Van Dyke I was very exceptic to get my lips done, however after seeing my friends results I was determined to get them done. Due to the complexity of lip brush and the long term implications, I was very nervous, however I am so happy with the results that I highly recommend to visit this place. Cynthia is a very professional and knowledgeable. It really enhanced my appearance and it looks very natural.

Jessamyn Martinez First, this stylist is a Spanish speaker and may be able to communicate in English but not extensively. Second, she was very professional and did her best to try and make me feel better about how disappointed I was in the final product. Third, be forewarned that although she will confirm your preferences she will still move towards her own preferred style and insist that it is the trend. I was pleased with her professionalism but highly disappointed in the end result, which was thicker than I asked for, higher up than I asked for, and imprecise.

Loida Sotomayor I’ve been coming here for a while now, and every visit has been fantastic! The owner is kind, patient, and never rushes—she truly takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. She’s gentle, uses high-quality products, and I love that she doesn’t use paper or cloth strips with the wax—just a peel-off wax that’s better for the environment. She also does a great job shaping brows, using a black ink string to map out the perfect shape and even showing me where I was missing hair. She recommended a brow regrowth product from Sephora but wasn’t pushy about it, which I really appreciated. In fact, she offers a variety of services but never tries to upsell—she simply answers questions with honesty and expertise. I also got a pedicure here, and it was just as amazing. The nail tech took her time, which I love because I prefer to relax and enjoy the experience. If you’re looking for a place that provides top-notch service, attention to detail, and a truly relaxing experience without any pressure, this is it. Highly recommend

Jennifer M. Acosta I drive from Rockland County with my daughter every 3 months for trims and treatments. She is the best! Albania knows her stuff and is very sweet. Very good atmosphere to be around.

Martha Batista Alvania is the most lovable and welcoming individual. Coming to get my hair done with her is like a getaway from reality. She and Monica are always making coffee and making everyone feel at home. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she cuts and does my hair. I always tell her, her hands are blessed, because when she cuts my hair it comes back looking soo much more healthier.

Ive done my hair with Yisset for about 6 years now and my hair is long and healthy. Ive done coloring and hair botox, hair is healthy and long. Currently up to my almost my waist !!!!

PSILU Nani and staff are nice but everyone there doesnt have the same training especially with heat styling. The person that did my hair used no protection at any point (roller set, blow dry or flatiron). Nani stepped in and thankfully did use protection spray, but the damage was done and when my hair was done it smelled slightly burned. Its been years since Ive gotten a blow out and now after washing my hair and seeing stringy strands Im really sorry I did. I feel even worse for the young lady that was styled before me (prepping for prom). Her hair hardly moved after the triple heat...it was crispy straight! Basically if the owner cant do your hair leave OR be ready to speak up and micro manage whoever does (especially if you have fine hair).

Mel I came here because my usual nail salon didn’t have a person to do pedis at the last minute. I was happy and pleased that I did! No wait time and she did such a great job. I absolutely loved my pedi. Thank you!

The Local news Th worst salon ever I went in there with long very long hair I asked for layers in my bangs and the front long layers when I turned around the owner cut all of my hair up to breast. The hair that took me 5 years to grow !!! The worst experience ever and she had the audacity to tell me I needed it. No respect for others and always on her phone. I regret going in here so much something is just off about this place.

XxComeSalamiXx - I went here with my girlfriend and she left very happy with how they did her hair and nails. They also have a barber here that cut my hair really nice. The new owner is very nice and greetable

dee harris I went here to just for a wash and set because my regular stylist was booked. I have not used a relaxer in 6 months. My hair was roller set and then blow dried. This was late December. January 11th, today, my regular stylist (of 4 years) advised me that it looks like they used a relaxer in their products. I will be reporting this.

Audrey Halpern I have been going to Carmen, the owner for years now. She is absolutely amazing the the beauty salon is beautiful. Everyone there is so nice and amazing. If you want your hair done beautifully then go here

SpiceIslandEmpress (SpiceIslandEmpress) This was my first time at the beauty salon and it would be my last! I needed a silk press because my right hand has some sort of strain and it would hurt when I’m washing my hair my self. Called before going in and was told to come in so they would know how much it would cost to get a silk press. My hair is natural btw. I was told $60 at first. Brought my natural hair products so that they can use cause that’s all I use at home. While one of the staff was washing my hair. She sneaked their own products in when I clearly said I only want my products used. Anyway after washing and condition. I sat in the chair and she proceeded to roller set. She then said she couldn’t roller set because “MY HAIR IS TOO THICK”. She then blow dried and flat iron my hair. I ensured her that I NEED heat protectant to protect my hair. She sprayed something before blowing drying and flat iron. After she was done. I gave her the $60 and she said it’s now $90. I said you told me $60. She said that because she couldn’t roller set my hair and had to blow dry that’s the reason. I said to her that she should of said that before. I gave her the $90 and left. My hair smell burnt. I had no trim. No volume/body to my hair. Just plain flat. It was not worth the $90. Two weeks later. I washed my hair because I do wash often and also I was heading out of town. My hair is so damaged. Some parts of my hair is so straight. It refuses to revert to its natural curls. I’m not sure if it was the heat or because of the products I said not to use in my hair. I’ve heard stories that Dominican salons putting perm in shampoos and conditioners. I do not put heat in my hair since I’ve been natural for about 4 years. Now I have to start all over again.

Nieves Madera This salon is amazing. My former salon closed after the COVID lockdown and didnt open again. That left me out to dry without a place to go. I went as a walk in and was very impressed how great my hair looked when Jenny was done with me. The styling to my hair lasted the whole week. Beautiful, bouncy and alive. Ive been going since. The atmosphere is relaxed and they treat their customers like gold. Since then Ive colored my hair with them and it looks perfect. Love the place!!!

Heade Banievicz I didnt try to get my hair done there but the manicurist Guadalupe her job is really good. In general all the staff is very respectful and friendly. The place itself is small but clean.

Egypt Malaysia Last year I was in dying need of finding a good hairdresser because I was tired of dealing with my own hair, and my friend mentioned Miss Kizzy who has done her friends hair for a while and I’m so happy for the recommendation. I never really ever got my hair done because it’s either painful or I don’t like them or the way they handle my hair as a whole but Miss Kizzy is the absolute best! Such a sweet lady. Very entertaining, makes you feel comfortable, beyond AFFORDABLE, and you can tell she is very dedicated to her clients and takes her work very seriously. Also this has been the longest my hair has been. Coming across a hairstylist as such these days are very hard to find. Even when I move in a few months I will take that 2-3 hour drive to her! ❤️ Loyal customer!

Jose Morales Getting my haircut done professionally was a real joy in this day and age. I know many are hesitant to have someone working so close to them. What with Covid still present in this country. Trust me when I say the staff is just as concerned. The seating is spaced just enough for safety. Masks are definitely required to enter. All staff are masked and the prices are reasonable. Enjoy yourself.
