Jamila Simon Run like hell, I cant even rate this place because they are horrible. I was told I needed a filling and told the nurse and Doctor Kapur I was allergic to lidocaine. She claimed I didnt know what I was talking about because ofcourse I dont know my own body. Then I was prepped for a crown by Dr. Kapur, she didnt even ask me if she had my permission to do so, because I would have declined and gotten a second opinion. Now I have to find another dentist because she took matters into her own hands. I confronted her and she treated me just like you would of family, she walked away and began to text on her phone. What professional does that? What family centered practice is that disrespectful? Now onto the staff- the staff is more concerned with jumping from one patient to the next and gossiping that they hurry up to get the work done and dont treat clients like people. I was bleeding because the dentist shaved my tooth and gums down. The dental assistants only concern was quickly getting the tools cleaned and put away. So I had to prompt her to replace the water in my cup as I rinsed a half dozen times. It was only after the assistant shoved the mold in my mouth that I knew I had crown prep completed and I asked her to get the doctor, she asked why like an idiot. During the procedure she and Dr. Kapur gossiped about a staff member - just incredulous. I also want to point out that you should be suspicious about who is posting under Google user because the CT Family Dental team is less than competent. In fact they cant even figure out how to pronounce a simple last name OR even better ask the patient how to pronounce their name. Last what adds more fuel to my legal case is that the hygienist did mention that Dr. Kapur would make sure to give me a crown and someone else posted the same experience. Run like hell if you are reading this, they only got one star because that is the lowest rating they can get.

Xing Xu I cleaned my teeth there and the doctor persuaded me to do a filling. I didnt expect he used amalgam without telling me any detail. I saw two other dentists later and they told me the filling was terrible and almost hurt my nerve. After a month I had serious toothache and ended up with a root canal treatment. My only advice is never go there. They waste your money and cause more pain.

David Smith People are getting Collegetown Dental Associates (excellent dentists) in Community Corners confused with Collegetown Family Dental. That is because years ago Collegetown Dental Associates used to be in the location that Collegetown Family Dental is now. Collegetown Dental Associates in Community Corners are excellent!

Shannon Barry Wise Dr. Heck is wonderful, to work with and his work as a Dentist. As a hygienist myself, I send all of my family there. He recently did a bridge on my mothers front teeth that had broken. I contacted him over the weekend, and he got her right in the next day. As a hygienist, I am quite particular about shades matching, especially in the front. It came out PERFECT. I actually shrieked when I saw the final product I was so happy. Now the best part-- to say my mother is an extremely anxious patient is an understatement. I wont even work on her myself. Dr. Heck handles her very well and she feels confident in his care. My daughter refuses to see any dentist other than Dr. Heck. I recommend him to everyone! Thank you, Dr. Heck!

Rick George Dr. Karpinksi and her dental assistant are the best. Ive had two root canals done by Dr. Karpinski and she is professional and pleasant to work with as well as her assistant who has a kind and caring and professional personality. I highly recommend Dr. Karpinski.

AT This doctor needs to retire. When doing oral surgery, i was laying down and she was gossiping with the nurse and not paying attention to her work. Same tooth tmultiple root canels done by this dr failed rightaway. Waste of money, time and ended up getting very bad infection that complicated things around my ears and jaws. I wont recommend her at all. She is terrible

Kristen Hopewell Dr Billiot was amazing with our 3 week old son. We knew he had a lip tie, but she also discovered his posterior tongue tie. He spent a total of 5 minutes away from me for her to do the laser procedure. They brought him back to me where Danielle gave me thorough instructions on how to help him heal, while also giving us a nipple shield to make nursing more comfortably during the healing process. He is now 3 months old and nursing is so much more comfortable. Im so glad we traveled the hour to see her. Thank you so much, Dr Billiot and Danielle!

Marcie Lanham Dr. Kelly and all of the other staff at this office are amazing. My whole family goes here and we have all had nothing but great experiences. My 4 yr old recently had to have some fillings and Dr. Kelly was so patient with him, even despite his reluctance to cooperate at times. She went above and beyond to help him (and me) with a procedure that is not very fun for little ones. I highly recommend her and Dental Spa of the Finger Lakes!

Justin Taylor Chipped a tooth and needed it filled. They got me in within a week, charged competitive rates even without dental insurance, and the dental assistant and dentist were both very enjoyable and informative throughout the duration of my visit. Will recommend to all of my friends.

Austin Fay Although they do nice work on your teeth, do not expect them to treat you nicely if you are not a wealthy family. If you have not seen a dentist in a long time, they will make you feel nervous and condescend and talk down to you about the fact that you have not seen a dentist. If you are paying them any amount out of pocket from your insurance, they will not work with you, they will claim that they will and then surprise you at your appointment with canceling and refusing to see you. I showed up ready to pay a couple hundred dollars off a bill that was surprisingly applied to my account and mailed months after the last time I had seen them with no communication from their office. Apparently my insurance had, for some reason, not covered the majority of the bill as they had in the past. No communication was made about it at all. They will make claims that theyve talked to you multiple times when they havent, they will make claims that they have sent you letters that they havent, and then if you try to show up for an appointment they will pull a gotcha about owing them money. And despite having half the bill in hand, they still refuse to see me. It was really disappointing after working with them for this long and having given them so much money. Plus the times that they have canceled when I was pulling in because they overbooked, which was more than once, and I have taken it in stride both times. Not worth it. We all know how anxiety producing dentistry is for people who have not grown up with a dentist all their lives and are trying to do catch up work. As much as I appreciate the quality of the work, do not go there expecting to be treated well if you are brown and not wealthy.

Becky Caruso Dr. Karpinsky was amazing! I traveled from Binghamton to see her for a root canal. I had been in tremendous pain for 11 days waiting for a local endodontist. I finally gave up and found Dr. Karpinsky. Because I had been suffering for so long she saw me right away. She was extraordinarily skillful. Her gentleness and confidence placed me at ease. After having many root canals I could hardly believe how quickly she completed the job. I would travel 4 hours to see her if necessary. I highly recommend Dr. Karpinsky.

C Hoffman I am not afraid of much in life...but after several bad experiences I avoid dentists as much as possible. I recently had a severe tooth infection. Acahti dental took care of the problem professionally, promptly, and most important to me painlessly. I have been to other dentists in the area and have not been satisfied with their work. I will not bad mouth (no pun intended) any of them, but will be going to Dr. Oberly again to take care of some overdue dental problems Ive been procrastinating on. Thank you.
