Daphne A. Hodgson GWEN Rosenthal, previous owner of Village Hair, has been cutting/styling my hair for abt 10 yrs now. When you find the best you keep going back. She recently moved to Upper Cut on Greenwich Ave in Goshen NY. I drove 1.5 hrs from Danbury, CT to have her cut my hair, and at lunch an hr later I got my first compliment on my do. Gwen is phenomenal, and would follow her anywhere. Worth the trip to Upper Cut!

Laura Johnson Krystal & Janessa were so wonderful for our wedding party! They made sure everyone was beyond happy with their hair style. We definitely put them to work with a big group of us and limited time - they were like a well oiled hair duo machine! We did a hair trial prior to the event at their salon and they were so welcoming and helpful making sure they did what would be best for us. Madeleine Swift I booked Liz and Tori to do hair and makeup services for my wedding in April. They were AMAZING! They showed up on time, listened to each girl and delivered a quality service in an efficient amount of time. They were fantastic communicators leading up to the day so I never worried about their professionalism. Even my trial was perfect. All I did was show them each a picture of the hair and makeup look I was interested in and they took their time to deliver exactly what I wanted. And the prices-- WOW! I honestly a little guilty paying them so little compared to what I was seeing from other vendors online. Even with the travel fee to the venue, their prices were so manageable it was shocking. I will forever and ever be grateful to Harmony Hair for making our wedding day so wonderful!

Maddy was so kind and helpful. I told her what I wanted and also shared some of my experiences getting hair cuts and what I did and didnt like about them. She listened to me, gave me options and shared her ideas which I liked a lot. I am in love with the results. It was overall a 10/10 experience! Michele Wisniewski Paula is amazing.. my last chemo treatment was April 2021 and my hair was out of control.. not healthy at ends when it grew back.. she was the first to cut it since 2021.. she did an amazing job.. long layers.. cut approximately 4 to 5 inches off that were gummy and dry.. she gave me great advice... of how to keep it healthy going forward.. she added this product hair fiber on top of my crown to make it look healthier and fuller .. love love !!! definitely going back.. !! she is personable and listens!!!

Stephanie Tunic I took a chance and found my new hair place! Paula was absolutely wonderful. She listened to exactly what I wanted (balayage coloring and a 4 inch haircut with long layers) and it came out perfectly. I don’t trust people with my hair but this place really deliverered. Kimberly Martel On March 28, 2019 I arrived to my appointment with the owner Kathy of impressions salon for a half a head of highlights. My hairdresser will b moving out of state shortly and I figured it was time for me to start looking into a new one. Once foils were put in and processed it was time to wash my hair. As Kathy was taking the foils out she kept adding bleach to my head again in the sink before washing. Immediately I had a bad feeling. Once my hair was washed I received a fast messy blow dry. I stated that I was not happy with my hair. I thought it looked orange/yellow in certain areas. Kathy proceeded to tell me she did not see what I was talking about. To make matters worse she then asked everyone in the salon if they seen what I was talking about. I felt embarrassed as if she was arguing with me about my feelings. It was 8pm at night and Kathy advised me to go home and try purple shampoo knowing I was not a happy customer. It’s like she didn’t care! Then proceeded to charge me $85. I paid it. I went home very upset. Right away I tried the purple shampoo, it made no difference. I then proceeded to try apple cider vinegar, it made no difference. I was extremely upset at this point. I made an appointment with my original stylist (who will b moving out of state shortly) Thankfully she was able to fix most of it. My stylist not only was able to agree with me about the Orange/yellow chunks on my head but showed me that I didn’t even receive a half of head of highlights. Kathy only did the top. I had roots beyond roots in the middle of me head. Impressions charged me $85 and out of the kindness of my hairdressers heart she only charged me $65. I don’t know if Kathy had a bad day but I will not be going back nor would I recommend this salon to anyone. As a business owner I feel like she was extremely unprofessional about the situation.

Mary Cathy has been cutting and coloring my hair for more than ten years. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. First Impressions has a comfortable, friendly and professional atmosphere.

David Flannery I’ve been coming here for three years. Cathy does a really nice job on my cowlicky hair. I am always changing my appointment times and dates at the last minute. And she is always accommodating.

( Kacie does multiple hair processes, cuts and styles my hair) I especially love and respect the fact that she really takes the time to listen and understands what I’m are asking for and is not afraid to explain why some styles might not be suitable for me. She has always been honest, supportive and empathetic to any of my hair concerns and is willing to share her hair “secrets” with me to help keep my hair looking young and vibrant as I’ve aged ( I’m 50). In the past I’ve had a few hair disasters with other stylists from other salons so to say that before Kacie I was an anxious mess anytime I was having my styled is an understatement. Kacie has a way of making her clients feel comfortable and informed before she undergoes any hair transformation. She has NEVER disappointed! She is also very accommodating and flexible too when scheduling our appointments, as we all have very hectic schedules. I truly enjoy the time I get to spend watching this talented woman work. Kacie is not just a stylist. She is a truly a hair artist!!

Suzanne Scuderi Kacie has been my hairstylist for many years. Not only is she a super talented colorist but also a phenomenal curly cut specialist. Very unusual to find a hairdresser that can do both. Not only has the health of my hair vastly improved but since Kacie has been doing my hair, I receive compliments on a daily basis on my hair! What I also love about her is her passion for learning and educating and keeping up with the latest techniques. I cannot recommend her enough!

Andrea Greco I’m disappointed that Google stops at 5 stars for ratings, because Kacie deserves 5000. She has been styling my hair for well over 10 years, and I don’t see that changing anytime. Kacie has a fantastic natural eye for color and style, but she doesn’t stop there, she has constantly attended other classes and learning opportunities all over the world and brings all that knowledge to bear at each appointment. She now teaches as well, sharing that wealth of know-how with others. All this, and she’s an absolute joy to be around as well. Kacie has colored my hair, cut it, styled it and generally kept it looking great in changing ways over the years, with me receiving the compliments for her work every time!

Chanel Cagle I found The Hair Bar OC on instagram. I had been stalking their page for quite some time, and decided to just go ahead and book. The date that I wanted wasnt available, so I decided to go on the waitlist. Less than an hour later, I had an appointment, the next day, at 8am. Yaaaaaay!!!! Alize was the stylist, and she was very warm and welcoming, when I entered the salon suite. She asked me a few questions about how I care for my natural hair, etc. She began to examine the current state of my hair, then began the Silk Press service. Alize was very gentle, and gave me exactly what I wanted. She provided some hair care tips on how to maintain my style in between visits. I even received her hair oil product, and some styling accessories. The suite was very clean and organized. The service was absolutely AMAZING!!! I love the intimacy of the salon suite. You have a one-on-one session with your stylist, without any distractions. I was in and out and made sure to book with her again!

Kristen Gessel I went in for the first time today to have my 3 yr old hair cut. It was beautiful and long on top and short on the sides. I showed him 2 photos of recent haircuts as a point of reference. Instead he CHOPPED THE ENTIRE TOP OFF!!! My sons beautiful hair is gone, and there is nothing I can do but cry. It took us 6 Months to grow it out last summer and 10 mins for this guy to destroy it. I wish I could show the before and after pics. Worst part is I had to pay for this disaster. I cant even look at my son without breaking down. They prided themselves on in and out 15 mins hair cuts and now I know why. I will never go back and will warn other Moms I know, to take thier sons elsewhere.

His attention to detail and the time he takes to make sure each cut is exactly how you want it sets him apart from other barbers. I highly recommend this place and Victor specifically.
