Primed Combat

Uri Sald Been here for about a year now and can definitely say it’s a great gym to learn striking and grappling. People sign up at all different levels of experience so whether you want to compete, make friends, or just get a good workout, you’ll find your space and people here. Coach Grey is also the nicest dude despite being a killer, so don’t hesitate to stop in. Only complaint I have is that I wish it would’ve opened five years sooner when I first moved into the area but that’s not their fault lol

Girl on Fire Fitness

Alicia Aldaco Nikki is great!!! She makes me comfortable with being a first time person learning how to work out. She also checks on you daily to make sure you’re doing ok or give pointers on stretches that will help. I highly recommend working with her!!! Super friendly and an awesome teacher!! My experience has been super pleasant!!!

Lovelight Collective

Mariesa DeSantis Lovelight Collective truly lives up to its name— a space filled with love, light, and a supportive, warm community. The studio’s deep foundation in alignment and philosophy has not only transformed my practice, but has had a profound impact on my life. I’m so grateful for this beautiful space and the dedicated, inspiring teachers who make it so special.

Breakthrough Fitness

Kristian Johnson Troy is an excellent trainer. I immediately saw improved technique and identified areas of focus during our first visit. Troy also helped me to reach some personal bests by providing an environment that feels safe to do so.

Orangetheory Fitness

Tom Jones Great aerobic & cardio workouts that also include strength-building for all muscle groups and endurance. If you are my age, check out the Facebook group for Orange Theory over 70 years old, but way more intensive than Silver Sneakers, as most participants are college age through mid-life. This is keeping me in shape, after doing triathlons & martial arts in the past. Located across from MSU on Hagadorn Rd. in Hannah Plaza.

Nitro Performance CrossFit

Liz Cotto I’ve been going to Nitro for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it! I was very hesitant at first, but felt right at home the moment I walked in. Coach Sam is awesome and she truly cares about your story and unique goals. She takes time during each work out to explain the movements thoroughly and makes suggestions for improvement. Nitro is so much more than a Crossfit gym- it’s truly a community of people who want to better themselves and support each other’s journeys along the way. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made and cannot recommend Nitro enough!

Parkwood YMCA

CC The preschool here is amazing. It is run like a school, not a daycare. The teachers are great and care a lot about the kids. They focus on getting the kids outside as much as the weather allows them to. My child has grown so much at the preschool and also at swimming lessons. The prices are also very affordable for both preschool and swimming lessons. I highly recommend the programs here!
