St Jane de Chantal Church - Abita Springs (LA)

Having had the privilege to play keys and sing with Mr Joe Randazzo and my dad at the 5/6pm mass since I was little, I’ve grown up in this parish with the congregation and the priests and of course Deacon Mike. Thank you guys for what you do, and I love being a part of this wonderful parish.

5 /5 Judith Helmer: I love this church. I go out of my parish to come to St. Jane even though I go to my parish church as well. Every single time I walk out of St. Jane I feel at peace and am filled with hope and renewed faith. The congregation are all so welcoming and kind. Father Charles is so gracious. Father Kevin our former priest has moved on to another parish and I wish him all the best, he is a wonderful Godly man. I especially thank the lovely people of St Jane for their heartwarming kindness. May God bless all of you...

5 /5 Angela Cilluffa: Fr Charles is a wonderful priest and a great speaker. The congregation is friendly and welcoming. Last bet not least, the church is beautiful. I enjoyed attending mass at St Jane de Chantilly Church in Abita Springs, LA.

2 /5 E A: I am strongly uncomfortable with being a single woman of color here, so please watch out anyone who discerns visiting with caution. I know a few people do not make a total church reputation, so might take this review with a grain of salt. I went to church today and sat in the garden to read. A couple ladies thought I was the gardener, and it may have been because I’m a person of color and it’s like the new help movie that recently came out or whatever? Idk I haven’t seen it, but abita springs obviously includes plenty of folks who shoot micro aggressions on accident, with no intentions in being culturally polite regardless. After that encounter, I wish I could’ve had enough confidence to ask more than one person about where to go to the restrooms, but anyhow they are difficult to find for a lay person.
