Purpose Church is a church I would recommend to the people of Baton Rouge and its surrounding neighbors. The pastoral leadership are locals who have invested their lives to the call of ministry and know the culture. Their heart is reflected in their weekend services. The worship and entire Sunday morning “church” is an experience, not just an event. There is such an excitement in the atmosphere because lives are being radically change by the power of the Holy Spirit because Purpose Church is submitted under the obedience of Christ.
The dress is casual. Most were in jeans and a shirt. This created a “down to Earth” atmosphere that made it easier for me to relax and engage in the service.
Parking downtown can get pricey; Purpose Church has you covered when you attend Sunday morning service so cross that off your reason for not attending.
Oh yea, they have great coffee and had donuts when I attended! Who does that?!
And yes, they have something for all age kiddos! The environment is safe with security measures in place. The learning is high energy and full of fun! Your Kids are sure to have a wonderful time while meeting new kids and learning about Jesus.
If I lived in the area I would certainly be an active member of Purpose Church! It is a gift to Baton Rouge that is for sure!
