1 /5 U S: Went into meeting with this Fr. Zablocki recently. He came in irate, would not hear what I had to say, became unhinged and yelled that I “get out” multiple times for just disagreeing or perceived “arguing.” Brought up issues that had been absolved in confession. I was called “unstable” and yelled at again to get out. I did not handle that well. He also called my husband immediately, ranted, told him the same about me, and hung up on him. No hate or bitterness in our hearts, we are highly disappointed in his behavior as a man of God. Fr. Zablocki needs prayers and help. Even the “good ones” have bad days, but the aforementioned is the reality of OUR experience. This was handled through the Archdiocese and meetings with other priests. Ne supra crepidam.

5 /5 roseskyline9: I have never felt so welcomed by a community as OLMC. As a Hispanic, I find no difference in my community back home and the one I find here. It truly feels like I haven’t left. In a world where many attack the *good ones* out of pure hate and bitterness, Father Sabloky goes above and beyond to care for his flock to the best of his ability. There aren’t many like him today. If you are around the area, don’t hesitate to attend this Church. While aesthetically unlike a gothic one, it holds a profound religiosity that encourages me to be holy (and I have been to MANY beautiful Churches and liturgies all my life). At a time where the church calls for inclusivity, this is where I feel most included—in a community and liturgy so parallel to the ones of my devout Spanish ancestors.
