Kristelle Lamark-Refuge I was in town for a wedding one weekend and I needed to get a hair cut. The Solon is very nice and the owner was able to accommodate me that day I walk in, I was so happy. Cutina is very professional and is an amazing person. I always love my hair every time never disappointed. I will be sure to make my appointment next time Im in the city!!!!!

Freddy Frederick Jessica is a professional that understands the needs of her clients. Her work with extensions and color is something you might see in magazines or on TV. My fiancé has used her for years, even after moving to Houston. Driving for 6 hours to get your hair done is not an easy task, but well worth it when you see the quality of both the hair and the work that Jessica does. Recently my fiancé was in the hospital for some minor things and ended up missing her appointment before our anniversary trip. Jessica came in after hours to ensure she could enjoy her trip. She is not just an artist, but a conscientious business owner, friend, and fun to be around.

Three of us needed manicures and pedicures in preparation for our formal, family cruise pictures, and Gaby did not hesitate to work all of us into her busy holiday schedule. She is gentle, thorough, compassionate, very clean, and super professional. The quality of her work is outstanding! We felt great wearing everything from our open-toed shoes to our comfy flip flops, and the quality of her work held on. We had 258 cruise pictures made over the course of 8 days. We had never received so many compliments of how we looked in our formal attire each evening until this cruise. This out-of-state family plans to utilize Gabys services again, and you should too!

Abbi Rich Lorita is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. She’s kind, personable and very skilled at her job. Her pricing is reasonable but you get more than what you pay for. She makes the effort to get to know her clients and what they like. I recommend Lorita to everyone I know!

Daysi Acevedo Dear AKD Beauty Salon Spa Saturday 11/21/20 around 12:45 I came into your shop for a haircut. None of the hairstylist had masks on. I waited for 20 minutes before someone came. I interrupted her lunch break. She started by putting on a used towel on me from her previous customer, I was sitting next to her waiting. She didnt even put on a poncho on me. As soon as she started cutting with the sheers i felt a sharp pain,  I told her that she was hurting me with the sheers. She asked around if they had better cutters, No. She continued cutting with the same sheers. I got up abruptly, I was mad that she wasnt listening. I went home to take pictures of my neck because i can feel it swelling she didnt cut my skin but she did Irritated it.  Ill send pictures.

Isabel NOLA I have had several keratin treatments. They have worked with me through it all. 2 years ago I decided to go platinum and ended up damaging my hair so severely that we had to cut it often, and keratin it, my hair is now the picture of health. They have helped me maintain it, now that I no longer have damaged hair it grew from my neck to my bra strap over COVID-19. I will try to upload pictures the results, speak for themself and the price is on point for the excellent quality delivered. They welcome you and make you feel like family.

Erika Jones This is not a good place to go for natural black hair. The stylist was rough with my hair and told me "straight hair is better". They were playing vulgar music very loudly. And to top it off,the blow out didnt even last 2 days. The whole experience was horrible. These people were very rude. 4B and 4C woman,save your money.

W. Surbeck Chelsea is the best. Always on time and professional. She makes accommodations for me with scheduling appointments if she is booked. She goes above and beyond. I moved to Denham Springs almost two years ago, but I still make the trek to NOLA (3 hours roundtrip) every three months to see Chelsea. She is highly recommended!!!!

Kirstie My My normal stylist was booked so I tried Vanessa’s again after 2 years or so. I asked for a trim and the stylist cut about 4 inches of my hair. I didn’t sweat it because it’s hair and will grow back but heads up, do NOT get a “trim” here. Pros: hair is straight and silky Quick service Affordable

Graja Mundy My hair is severely damaged. I went for a blowout about 6-7 months ago and my hair has just been falling out. I have really thick and full hair, so I thought it could handle the heat. However, my hair has just been shedding and breaking off really badly. I am so heartbroken. Also, some parts of my hair is extremely straight (even after 6months) , as if, they put a relaxer in my hair. The initial results are very good (silk press), but long term it is not worth it.

pat macias Kristen at Salon La Rouge is Amazing. I heard about her from coworkers. Her appointment portal for first time customers is something every Hair dresser should have it’s like she knew my hair before even seeing it. Kristen explains everything to you in detail. She is Honest knowledgeable and professional. I left out of the salon looking 20 years younger. My hair is so easy to manage, very little effort needed on my end and my hair still looks great. I’m not good with change so I tried to find a reason not to like it. I COULDN’T. I have gone back to her five times already and I make sure I book my next appointment before I leave the salon. SHE IS BY FAR THE BEST HAIR STYLIST I BEEN TO IN THE 30 PLUS YEARS. Her prices are great, she’s worth every penny I spend. Book an appointment with her you won’t regret it. Love! Love ! Love! Her….I am one satisfied customer.

Virginia Ramirez I gave this place 2 stars because the ladies were nice and the price for haircut was decent but I would not get a haircut here. There are no appointments just walk-ins and you will wait 2-3 hours, it is always full with customers. It was our first time here and will be the last time. Simple, quick haircut/trims took 4 hours with wait time. Why did I stay? Once I wasted time by being there 2 hours, I just didnt want to find another salon that accepted walk-ins and maybe have to wait just as long, if not longer.
