Grace Bible Church - shorewood

mina miley God is doing some amazing things at this church! My husband was the pastor for the past 7 years & he faithfully studied & shared God’s word. We are following God in some new adventures in Wisconsin now & the interim Pastor, Nick is doing a fantastic job leading the Grace family. We absolutely love this church & miss them dearly. They are loving, welcoming, helpful, caring and they strive to show God’s love to everyone who enters their doors!

St. Josephs Church

Rick Livings First time Ive been in a a Catholic church. (Im not Catholic) Although somewhat nervous, I was very impressed. The Priest gave a short, to the point, funeral mass. The church is extremely beautiful, inside and out. Parking is only fair, especially close to the church.

St Edward & Christ Episcopal Church

Skip Ball This church is a mix of old and new Episcopal views. We were a little apprehensive when we first visited a few years ago, but we have found that this small group of parishioners holds no preconceived prejudices against any of its visitors and welcomes everyone as if St. Edwards has always been their church home. The services are about an hour long and include music (the choir is always looking to add to its small base) and a short sermon that is just long enough and informative enough not to cause you to doze off. You can participate in the many outside activities (food pantry, community garden, etc) or just come for the fellowship which is always followed by a light meal in the Great Hall. Stop by and check out all this church has to offer. This church is not for everyone, but it is for all looking for a closer relationship to the Trinity.

St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Joliet IL

Aaron Weinert First time I showed up, I didnt know what to expect. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. I highly recommend this Church. Fr. Mykola is a very nice, and wise man. Dn. Dave is very polite, and friendly. Everyone at this parish is willing to help out newcomers. The people here are basically my family. If you have any questions there will always be someone who can help you. The Liturgy is amazing, and Vespers is another great service. Those 2 are great for the soul. Amazing choir, and beautiful iconography. You can easily see the fruits of the Holy Spirit here. This place has helped me out a lot. Im pretty introverted, but this place has helped improve my social life. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to reach out. One message our parish has every week, "If you are without a spiritual home, please make OUR HOME, YOUR HOME". If youd like to attend the service is upstairs.

The Way Church of Joliet

Pam Thompson The Way Church of Joliet is a family oriented and Spirit-filled church. The music and praise team are great. The Pastor and ministers deliver a relevant sermon each week to help me in my spiritual journey. Also, I really enjoy attending Wednesday night Bible Study and Sunday school At The Way Church of Joliet. The teachers create a non-intimidating atmosphere to study and learn God’s Word. I feel no matter where you are in your Spiritual walk, you feel welcome here.

The Table

Veronica Leonard Ive been going to The Table for a few months now and I have to say that this is by far the best church Ive ever attended. From the first day I walked inside, I could tell that this was a very different, special, and unique church. I was greeted, welcomed, and made to feel like I truly belonged there. I love everything about this church; the atmosphere, the people, the services, the music, the singing, and especially Pastor Nate. He is really laid back, down to earth, and knows how to make the services so much fun. I found my church home and will continue to go there for as long as possible.
