Liz Swieca Family life shelter saved my life. I found God being there. The classes helped me very much. They helped me get my birth certificate. The staff is very nice and its clean. I completed the program. I got a full time job as a cook, saved my money and got my own place. I love their church.They have a wonderful service!

Alex Peterson Wow! This is the 3rd church Ive visited in town. The others were great, but I got fed at this churchs service this morning at 10:45 on 42nd Street. MTV, IL Everybody spoke with me. That Im not used to. The service was traditional, which is what Im used to. If youre looking, you really should GO HERE! Whew! Hallelujah! Amen.

Rachel Helgeson First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon is a welcoming community who strives to connect people with God, each other, and the community. Worship is at 10am on Sundays with 2 Sunday School classes before at 9am and childrens church at 10:30am.
