Sam Miller Had an appointment scheduled for 5:15 today and when I got there they were already closed even though their hours say open till 7. so now I am out $15 which isn’t much but is sucky because I scheduled the appointment weeks in advance. I called when I got there to see if anyone was just in the back and nothing. I waited 15 minutes for them and then left. Ridiculous.

They toned my hair with a violet toner and I couldnt be happier! Will definitely be back soon. Check this place out you wont regret it

Kaitlyn Ting -UPDATE- The owner reached out to me in regards to my review and was unprofessional in my opinion. I tried to explain how I am not a confrontational person and I didn’t want to come off as rude, so I didn’t tell my stylist that I did not like the results and it was nothing like the picture. I didn’t even initially want to write my first review. I felt bad and was just trying to respect the stylist for her time so of course I paid and tipped and just said I liked it. The owner addressing the situation in this way was honestly the cherry on top of this whole situation. She was rude and invalided my feelings and then blocked me so I could not even respond, no apology, nothing. I don’t typically do things like this, but I am in awe about this experience, especially when she said she has always took pride in her customer service…I didn’t even get an apology. I normally do not write reviews, but I felt I needed to share my experience so this doesn’t happen in the future. This happened August 4th, 2021. I decided to try out Hairbangers for the first time in hopes of it becoming my new go-to salon. I messaged through Facebook and was given the number of a lady (who I will not name) who works in the salon. When I showed up, she was over 15 minutes behind still working on a client, which is fine. I understand. We talked about what I wanted down and I showed her the two pictures that I had sent this salon on Facebook and told her exactly what I wanted. During my appointment, she seemed confused on what she was doing. After 3 hours, she showed me my hair and I almost started crying right there. She didn’t even style it, just brushed it out. I mentioned how I wanted face framing pieces like the picture, but she bleached to my skin (which burned so bad) and it looked terrible. Almost white, but it turned an ugly yellow just a few days after. Other than that, my hair looked the exact same. I was called “skunk stripe” because that’s what it looked like when I put my hair in a ponytail. I was so embarrassed of my hair. I was charged $145 for absolutely nothing. I just wish I could just get a refund. I had to go to a different salon just to get it fixed. All in all, I spent over $250 just trying to fix what she messed up. I do not recommend going to this salon.

Tara Law I’m not one to leave too many reviews, but this salon deserves it. I am one of those people who feel like their hair makes up most of their personality. In addition, this makes it quite nerve wracking to find someone I trust to cut my hair. Even if it’s a trim! I booked with Cassie, started with a hair wash, and then she got straight to cutting and styling. The entire time she made me feel very welcome to be there, and engaged in conversation. When she was completed she asked me to take a look, and honestly, I had fully prepared myself to leave the salon with mediocre hair. Boy was I wrong!! She nailed my layers, face framing, all of it! My hair is mid-butt length and she listened when I asked to only cut a couple inches off. I felt so much more confident and happy with myself after leaving. Will definitely come again in the future and 100% recommend her to others.

Jeremy Ward Cassie is far and away the best hairstylist I have used. There is nothing she can’t do with hair. She’s phenomenal! Even with what little hair I have, I know I look good leaving her salon.

min3rva83 Impossible to get an appointment. Everytime I call someone says theyll send out a group message and someone will call me. Ive called several times in the last year. Its a shame because they did a great job back when they would give me an appointment.

Lindsey Alexander The stylist was able to match my daughters hair color exactly to the picture that she provided. Their hot chocolate was amazing. Very nice, friendly and down to earth young ladies working there. These girls are fabulous! The store was clean, cute and had a comfortable yet trendy atmosphere! They are very knowledgeable and professional!! I love my new do! Men, women and children of all ages would have a great experience here. Thank you!

Danielle O2390 It’s an ok haircut for the price. It depends on who you get to cut your hair. I was disappointed today. A lady nicked my child’s ear 3 times. He never has had this happen so many times. He has a deformity with his ear. I’m proud of him for sitting there and finishing his haircut. He was a trooper.

Rex Vessels I considered breaking into Google headquarters to convince them to add a feature to rate an establishment 100 stars just for this salon, but unfortunately, that is illegal. This place saved me from spiraling into a fit of psychosis and shaving myself bald. As a transgender man, getting a haircut has usually been an experience akin to having your body covered in papercuts and then getting tossed into an Olympic size swimming pool filled with lemon juice. It was awful! I could never find a place that would give me the haircut that I wanted. Ive gotten haircuts that not even the CIA could torture me into getting again. But thats where this place comes in. This salon is one of the best ones Ive ever been to. As of writing this review, Ive had two appointments in which both have been with Emily. My hair has never looked better. Ive found a hairstyle that makes me actually want to look in the mirror every morning. As long as this salon is in business, I will be returning for trims. There is quite literally no other salon I could see myself going to ever again.
