They go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. The facility is always clean and well-organized, and the activities are both fun and educational. Alexis Seadorf Best decision I ever made was to put my kids at this facility. We’ve been coming to big blue marble for almost 4 years now. It’s clean and the teachers are great. It can sometimes get rocky depending on the situation but any complaints or concerns I do make are addressed immediately and with discretion. The kids love their teachers and the teachers treat them like their own. I fee at ease knowing my kids are taken care of while I’m at work, I definitely recommend BBM to any parent.

Traci Crowder I am so blessed to have found Big Blue Marble! They are such an amazing faculty! Being a teacher myself for the past 14 years I feel safe in knowing my son is taken care of by them and their staff! The best decision I have ever made was to put my son into this facility! I appreciate all their updates and how involved they are in all he does! They truly care and show that this is not only their job, but their calling!

Christina K The facility is clean and convenient, staff is friendly, the pool and changing areas are comfortably warm. However, I am embarrassed to admit how much time and $$$$ our family has wasted bringing my kid here to try to learn to swim, without any success. The method they use may work for some children but it did not work for our child. Other than that one method, they had nothing else to offer. The instructors, although they were very nice, did not seem motivated at all in getting my child to swim independently. Of the 30 minutes long lesson, children were only spending a few minutes total each on swimming, and the rest of the time they were sitting at the edge and chatting. After almost 2 years of weekly lessons, my child was still not any closer to knowing how to swim then when he started. We then finally switched to the YMCA swim classes where after only 3 weeks (2 weeks of group lessons and 2 private lessons) my child is now able to swim across the pool all on his own.

Ashlea Wright Weve been with dolphin academy for 6 months. Faculty and staff are friendly. However if you want your child to advance in swimming good luck. My daughter is a good strong swimmer and was advancing at the YMCA after every class. At dolphin I was there for 6 months and no advancement and they do the same thing every class. I would love for my daughter to be on a team but I felt like dolphin academy was holding her back and not teaching her the new skills she needs.

WindsorFineJewelers I cannot say enough good things about the Sunshine House and their staff! The teachers genuinely care about the children and its evident every day. they have structured lesson plans which is very important - especially for my four year old. My youngest has been there since she was six weeks old. The center is always clean and organized. The staff is so sweet and keeps you up to date on your childs progress. Both my girls are excited to go to "school" every day and that is such a good feeling! I 100% recommend this center!

Staci Tyrrell The staff here is so wonderful! My husband and I moved here in July with our 2 year old daughter and had never used public daycare before. After interviewing several locations we came to Sunshine House. It immediately felt comfortable and warm, everyone was so nice and above all the kids were very happy. They have been so supportive of us and our transition to life down here. They are patient and understanding, we couldnt have picked a better daycare.

Jana Woodall Compared to our limited experiences at other day care centers in the area, Sunshine House Evans feels like we hit the jackpot. My three kids get excited to go to school. I love hearing them sing new songs and ask me questions about topics they explore in their class. Their teachers show them warmth, affection, and individual attention (Ms. Julieta, Jazmine are MVPs) and send us photo updates throughout the day. They give the kids so many thoughtful, appropriate-for-their-age activities to do. The classrooms have a bunch of natural light and the backyard has a ton of greenspace for running around. I cant sing their praises enough and feel so grateful for the peace of mind I had while my children got to attend.

JIJI XIE We struggled for months to find the right daycare for our infant, and nearly a year for our toddler, trying different places without success. Finally, we settled on Blue Ridge, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are not only friendly but also honest and genuinely committed to addressing concerns. They have a relatively stable team of teachers who are caring and attentive to each child. While they may not be perfect, Blue Ridge remains one of the best choices in the area.

Sabrina Webb Summary: unsafe care from profit driven daycare My daughter has been enrolled since August and within a month I was already feeling the instinct to pull her out. I decided to wait it out because I thought it was just taking time to get used to “GA state policy” coming from an out of state daycare. My daughter never had issue with diaper rash until this daycare. She had it so bad that she literally blistered. I asked several times for the daycare to apply cream at each change and it wasn’t until she was injured in a separate event that they took me seriously. That injury was my daughter coming home with a bruise that was on her upper thigh near her diaper line. I never got an incident report because the teachers didn’t even notice. When I got her home and changed her, I immediately reported it to the daycare. They didn’t know what happened and had even offered to view the security footage. Because they had to view the whole day’s footage and I was being persistent on wanting to know what happened to my child, eventually the owner told me that if I wasn’t able to trust the daycare that I should look to find care elsewhere. This situation was never resolved (which in part is due to the hurricane that happened, but even after recovery, they didn’t try). I had begun looking for care elsewhere and found a place; however, in her last week, Monday she comes home with a large red abrasion on her forehead. The teachers “didn’t notice it”. They didn’t file an incident report and then said that she maybe was rubbing her head on the carpet (although she’s never done this before and the abrasion is on her hairline so she’d practically be standing on her head). I thought an unidentified injury being sent home would maybe make them more cautious, but the following day, she fell off of a table outside and bruised and scraped her head (to what I think is pretty bad). They did notify us. There was also a day that I came in and my daughter was laying on the floor crying hysterically next to the teacher. She didn’t not even look at my daughter or offer to console her when we came in, but just let us go pick her up off the floor. The last thing I have noticed about this daycare is that they are often out of ratio. Not during the day or maybe when the state visits, but I dropped my daughter off early one morning and there were approximately 12 kids in a 1:8 classroom. Not my cup of tea.

Kelly Phillips My 2 and 3 year olds go here. We absolutely love it. Since day one, my children have been so happy to begin their day. The staff goes above and beyond and has helped me in so many ways, including communicating with me how my kiddos day is going, and helping me navigate medical records. Im beyond blessed to have this opportunity for my children to learn and grow here. They have helped with potty training, speech development, and so much love and support. Thank you Blue Ridge preschool & daycare, we love you guys and hope to continue going here for quite some time. ❤️

Gabriel The teachers are good, and SOME kids are very great, by my overall experience there is trashy, I was constantly bullied for 4 years and counting, and I got depression because of that. It would be over little things that kids wouldnt let go of, but it built up over time. I had meltdowns, it was just bad. Its ok at best. The school isnt funded by the county I think, so they always are asking for money in some way, shape, or form, they are always supposed to use it to better the school, such as aisle school and equipment, but burn through it every year on whatever it is they are spending it on because its definitely not what its supposed to be for. Speaking from first-hand experience. They also have no sports, on the surface, the school seems like the best in the CSRA, almost, but its just disappointing, so if you go to this school, attend at your own risk. Lots of teachers here are great but some are definitely public school rejects. Lots of students hate it here, as a child you wouldnt understand, but as you get older attending this school, it hits you. In shorter words, teachers are ok, kids are bad but it really depends on the experience every year, and everything else is meh. Also bullying is a prominent thing and there are constantly so many cover ups for stuff, sometimes racism is a factor here too, but its minor. Thats all I have to say, kinda glad Im leaving next year.

angel Im friends with 2 kids that go to this school and sometimes they rant to me about how the students there say bad stuff and sometimes cuss words. The little one is only in kindergarten and hes saying that the kids in there say "Hell" and the F word. The older one is in 3rd grade and shes saying that her classmates are mean to her and say mean stuff to her. They said their teachers are nice to them though. I feel like the kids need to be more respectful and nice.

Peggy Ertz Just read this on Facebook and thought I would share it. Thanks Morgan. Morgan D.s 5 Star Review of BeeHive Preschool Morgan D. Augusta, GA 5.0 star rating 6/16/2014 We are so grateful to the BeeHive Preschool. Our daughter has learned and grown so much in the last year, and we cant wait for her to start up again next year. The program is a wonderful balance of structured group activities and free learning, with an emphasis on creativity and character development. Concepts like the alphabet, seasons, numbers, and days of the week are introduced in a fun, gradual way. The thing that really sets the Beehive apart is the warmth and caring extended by the teachers, parents, and kids. Ms. Ertz and Ms. Chesser genuinely love their work and absolutely pour themselves into what they do. They truly do an incredible job and "bring it" every single day. I have gotten more than a couple parenting tips from watching the expert way they are able to soothe high emotions and create an environment where the kids are motivated to act with kindness and respect. Finally, I would like to say that my daughter is seriously ecstatic about her teachers, friends, and all the activities she does at school. She constantly pretends to be a teacher at home now, and she has learned so much from the other kids (thanks to a lot of gentle teacher guidance) about sharing, kindness, and the joys of being a good friend. I whole-heartedly recommend the Bee Hive for anyone who celebrates childhood and wants a holistic, intelligent, loving preschool program for their little one.

Taylor Bohannon I always mean to leave a review on this place but it has slipped my mind - my daughter attended preschool here two days a week at 3 yrs old and 5 days a week at 4 - when I tell you that the teachers here have a real genuine love for the kids, they have the most amazing activity planning, SO creative and always something new! Honestly the engagement is UNMATCHED! Mrs. Zander and Mrs. Shouse were so good, I can’t wait until my son is old enough to attend. They gave our daughter an amazing start to learning, nothing but good things to say.
