5 /5 Chris Cooke: Went for our son’s birthday on Friday; it was an hour drive for us. When we entered, we were immediately greeted and told the cafeteria style ordering process. Mr. Wardlaw was at the cutting board and was kind and patient. After learning of the Birthday, they sang to him and offered a sweet treat, which was really nice. We got the 5-meat sampler, which was enough to feed the 4 of us, but then got a brisket sandwich and a chicken plate. The brisket, ribs, and sausage were some of the best bbq we’ve ever eaten. The chicken and pulled pork were great too, but the other items were the stars. I’d recommend this place to anyone; just be deliberate in timing as they have very specific hours.
