1 /5 Chantel Lewis: $2200 dollars later and it drives like I never brought it to them. Another mechanic removed the dash component for $75 and will reinstall the new one free of charge, took all of 5-10 minutes for them to do it. Meanwhile these guys kept my car for DAYS... WEEKS. The rebuilt cluster i purchased worked fine and lit up when they drove the car around but just so happen to have water damage and did not work when I picked it up. There are no leaks in the interior that would cause the intrusmental cluster to fry from water damage. The cluster would have had to be out and exposed to elements or the environment. They were trying to drain my pockets so that their spoiled family member could have MY car thats titled in MY name. Not only is dash not working STILL, I had no power steering fluid, literally it was empty (wasnt charged additional by new mechanic to put that in). My first ticket was $500 something. Second ticket was $1100 which included deposit for th3 headlight switch and then I paid $800 when picking up th3 car with th3 rebuilt cluster supposed to be working. I was only supposed to pay $350 this visit because my dash was unassembled but hey. Everything works when they test drive it around town, but not when you pick it up to take it home. If I was a family member wanting a freebie it would be fixed to perfection but since I am a paying customer they played with my car. Basic things were overlooked, made 20 minute fixes seem like it would take days for repair. You will keep paying time for them to "diagnose and rediagnose and you will have the same issue. Experiments are for the lab. Business owners are paid to do whatever craft they have mastered at a fair price. I went to pick up my FIXED car, "It was working, it was lit up so pretty. I wish you would have seen it!" If they only treat family right, they will have nothing to show for it eventually. Still need to get brakes fixed, still need a $15 fuel filter installed (20 minute labor) but it wont happen th3r3.
