United Church - Atlanta (GA)

Monae Gibson Today was the first day that I attended service at the faith center. I was supposed to be visiting this church along with 2 others over the course of the next 3 weeks. Well, i have to admit that after coming today in my heart, soul, and spirit, i feel like i found a new church home. I have been praying and asking God to lead me toward what i needed while i am in the process of getting my life and my family back on track. The faith center had been coming up on my timeline for about a month, and last night, i finally made a plan to go in person. From the moment i touched the parking lot, i felt welcomed, i felt genuine kindness, heartfelt assitance, and just peaceful. As i was walking in the door, i was greeted with hugs ((literally)). I advised the usher that it was my first time. She stopped what she was doing and walked my children and I to the information desk, and from there, it was just a blessing. My 9 year old wanted to go to the childrens center. He wasnt too happy when i picked him up only because he was grouped with younger kids. He wanted to be with children his age, but i think because of his height, maybe they thought he was younger. He wants to go back and try again. So that was good to hear. He also felt comfortable being able to wear what he wanted to. Ive always taught my children that Jesus says come as you are. In every sense of the phrase. My teenage daughter sat with me in the main sanctuary, although they had a group for teens she wanted to stay with me. I am glad she did. She was taking notes and was fully engaged. The choir was awesome, and the sermmon that was preched was truly a WORD. I will definitely be back with the rest of my family. I feel blessed to testify that i feel like I have found my church home❤️

Katrina Artison I’ve been a member of this church all my life, literally since I was in diapers lol. I currently sing on our praise time, where the worship is always on point. Our Pastor and his family are awesome. When you enter our church you feel God’s presence and we make you feel like family. Just know at Community Church you are going to have an awesome experience!!!!

Kelli Burks Biblical based teaching. Great vibes of hipster And artistic diverse individuals. Very wide range of age from milennials to baby boomers. Extremely welcoming and chilled. Great sense of community!!!

Elizabeth Jones Is your family looking for a welcoming church community? My children(and family) are always excited when I tell them we are headed to The Collective for worship or an event. I love our inclusive community, especially that the Collective provides ample volunteer opportunities and spiritual growth through regular small groups.

Francisco Furtado Very welcoming people with a cozy atmosphere. Came here for Sunday evening mass. They have a relic from the True Cross of Christ. The artwork and stained glass is amazing. While walking out, look up to be captured by the Rose Window.

Grace Kalu Such a warm and friendly church rooted on the foundation of Jesus. Have been going here since last July 2023 and I love it so far. This was my first year attending on Easter and I cherish the kingdom of God so much. I’ve learned so much from Pastor Mo and Kendra! God is really using them as vessels for his kingdom! My small group is amazing and I’ve started serving too which makes my experience better! I would recommend any of the victory campus as all are great!

CHUCK Chavis This is a great church. If you are looking for a church that loves God and loves people this is the church for you. The pastor is preaching directly from the word of God and not giving you his opinion. Thank you for Bible believing churches!

Jeannine Howe Im new to Georgia, looking for a home church. Since there are so many churches, I decided to listen online first to find a fit for me. I just sat through their online service tonight. The message was AWESOME! He touched on many things I am struggling with right now. And a lot of those things were side notes from his sermon for the night. Perfect for me. I will be attending in person.

Trin Bean 10/10 Pastor Mark Moore is a visionary and a true leader. Though I am not a member I am one in my heart. Expect a move of God, expect to see people serving with compassion, enthusiasm, love, and excellence. I love this place and the Detroit location because we all love the same God and share similar expressions in the way in which we worship him. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in SPIRIT & TRUTH”
