5 /5 Et Z de IR: Found this church to attend while I’m Statesboro. Went to Mass for the second time yesterday. Beautiful Mass. I am very appreciative of the effort being made to share the Gospel. The priest celebrated his 11th anniversary of ordination!! Happy anniversary!! He said it at the begin of Mass in beautiful Spanish. Yesterday marked his first year as pastor of this church, so I was blessed to be there. He is doing an amazing job reaching out to the Hispanic community in their language. I can only imagine the beauty of his Masses in English! May God bless his journey!

5 /5 Leopard One: After inquiring about joining the Catholic faith I was recieved with kindness and understanding. The people here especially the faith formation folks are very knowledgeable and can get you set into the right direction. For anyone considering becoming Catholic I highly recommend St. Matthews. You will feel welcome and encouraged in your spiritual journey here.

2 /5 Slava: I had all intentions of doing things right with this church, but I genuinely felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome in the service I visited at this church. The Catholic Eagles student organization associated with this church seemed nice enough, but didnt seem very understanding in the fact that I genuinely knew nothing about the Catholic faith. Nobody here seemed interested in reaching out, even when I did. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

5 /5 Bruno Okoro: I arrived Statesboro in the fall of 2016, from Nigeria, to attend Grad school in the college nearby. Being from a catholic background back home, I found this church gave me all I needed to maintain my faith. The mass is meant to be a solemn celebration and everyone ought to see it as that . If you think mass here is boring, then you probably have not been to mass at cathedrals. Having lived down there for two and half yrs, and now living in the north - Boston and now NY, I can tell you that some of the best singing of the traditional catholic songs I have heard so far were down there in the south. I often went to the chapel to pray by myself and those yrs were probably some of the best yrs of my life as a catholic.
