1 /5 Jacob Woodworth: At the end of May the water pump on our 2017 Toyota sienna went out and we needed it replaced fast. RW General had available so we brought it to them… that was a mistake.
We got it back and it drove fine for two days then we got an overheating warning. Looked under the car to it leaking coolant from the water pump. Called them and asked them to take it back in, they said they’d look it over, but refused to pay for a tow. Had to pay a tow out of pocket to tow it back. They “fixed” it and we drove it. It drove fine for a month, but while we were on vacation in Florida the water pump completely failed and was “vomiting” coolant. Had to get it towed, again, to a shop in Florida to have it fixed. The mechanic there told and showed us how poorly the original work was done. Broken bolts and a socket hole filled with some kind of epoxy to conceal a broken bolt.
We have tried multiple times to contact RW general MULTIPLE times about this and have been left with “oh, I can’t make that decision” “ we’ll call you back” “ the person that makes that call will call you back!”. We have also left a written letter with them. We’ve tried to be patient and understanding, but after poor workmanship, horrible communication and way too long of waiting’s we’ve had enough.
DO NOT do business with RW General. Call us back and make this right.
