1 /5 Cristy York: UPDATE: *** MY MECHANIC IN ATLANTA VERIFIED IT IS PAULS TIRES FAULT NOT MINE THEY DID NOT TIGHTEN THE VALVE CORE/WHEEL CORE AND THE RIMS ARE FINE SO IT IS THE FAULT OF PAULS TIRES MECHANICS BEING NEGLIGENT. THIS SHOP PUT MY LIFE AT RISK AND WHEN I CALLED BACK THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO ARGUE WITH ME AND SAY I WOULDNT HAVE MADE IT HOME I AM PROTECTED BY GOD NOT THESE HORRID GOOD-FOR-NOTHINGS AND WHEN INGOT THE TIRE THEY GAVE ME WAS FLAT AND SMOKING AND SMELLED OF RUBBER. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Verified by Goodyear on Ponce in Atlanta.***** Unfortunately , my tire blew out last night coming from Savannah to Atlanta. After a very exhausting trip we had no choice but to stop in Dublin and were told to go to this shop- Paul’s Tire. The bearded man who I assume is Paul told me the tire was brand new, and upon getting back to Atlanta the “brand new tire” is now flat. So it must be the rim. What’s really infuriating to me is I have *never* had a mechanic who didn’t check the rims or the other tires before departing. All mechanics do this. I’ve even had mechanics who will inspect the tires and rims and let you know if there is rim damage and even hammer the rim out if they need to. After having gone on a long and exhausting trip and being stranded in the middle of no where Dublin, which I politely explained to the bearded man the tire blew and we were stuck, one would think a proper mechanic would do such inspections and checks- ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE BLOWN TIRE WAS QUITE VISIBLY SHREDDED. By the grace of God we made it home safely, but as I was unloading my car I smelled rubber and looked down to see the brand new tire is flat!! We were only on the road for two hours I immediately called Paul’s tires and they said there was nothing they can do and they refused to give me a partial refund and said they didn’t check because I didn’t ask! I spoke to a man named Walt on the phone and a boy named Tyler is who changed my tire. They said Tyler was new and wasn’t doing nothing when I had arrived. So this is complete negligence on Paul’s Tires end and preposterous and completely unprofessional. The proper thing to do is to check everything and review with the customer and they did none of that! They wasted my money and time and now I have to go to my normal mechanic to have them fix everything and spend more money! Do NOT waste your money here!!!
