Flat Rock AME Church - Fayetteville (GA)

Pearlie Moody My husband and I attended 11am service. Breakfast was served before the service began, and there was much activity in the outer hall as different groups talked to members about the different programs. Church was on time with the praise team singing, followed by Pastor Young, who gave a great sermon. The children were brought into the service from childrens church for prayer and sat around around the altar with their teachers. After prayer they all received glow in the dark prayer bracelets while the adults received black ones. Church was followed by free ice cream for everyone. We dressed semi casual. My husband wore long sleeved dress shirt and slacks with dress shoes while I wore dress blouse and slacks with short heels. Everyone was dressed from jeans to suits. The atmosphere was very relaxing. They also have two Sunday services and can be watched virtually on YouTube and Facebook.

TeOnna Burke It was the first time my children were able to attend service and it was wonderful! The congregation is very welcoming and nice. We were greeted with all smiles and had a fabulous time! My kids really enjoyed themselves as did I! Great church!

Mrs Knight Always friendly, very clean, and its a great location. Visitors are welcomed in with smiles and everything was very nice.

James Pollard A wonderful church where the word of God is preached with fervor and with clarity every Sunday. Pastor Rast is a man who does not stray from the word, and he shepherds his flock well. It’s smaller, which means that everything is more personal and that everyone knows everyone and fellowships together, as the Acts church did. Come worship the Lord here on Sunday if you have not found a home church yet or you are visiting the area.

Reverend W C Williams Being completely without doubt, I have been Called and "Sent in the matchless name of Jesus Christ to preach the gospel of Salvation to the dying world. Yet, I maintain that it would be wrong to condemn those who wronged the church, although I do condemn their behavior. And as I must be brief in my words, let me say " he that is without any sin, let him cast the first stone" figuratively, at those having cast a dim light upon the body of Christ, yet still, their improper behavior shines upon each confessed believer who daily seek Gods guidance. I would say to the current pastor listen closely for the voice of God; because Satan is still capable of portraying an angel of light to the world. I say unto the Church, over which God has placed him, let us actively join with OUR pastor and ALL of US continue our learning of how to Lean and Depend on God. And let us, under the pastors watch, be mindful that each of us endeavor to cause as little difficulty as possible to the man God has appointed to watch over our very souls. My prayer: Father in heaven Let US not be weary in WELL doing; and give us a united mind to..."bless the Lord at all times, and allow His praise continually to be in our mouths."
