We love being a part of church that is focused on spreading the gospel and loving loving others. They make it very easy to get plugged. We felt welcome from the very beginning. We have met so many genuine people that are now our best friends.

You can expect sound and loving Biblical teaching in the sermons from Dr. Jimmy Patterson, the attention of our excellent and gifted staff, and an outstanding music program offered under Lee Chitwood’s cheerful leadership. My husband and I absolutely love our Sunday School class, the Glory Class, where we have delved deeper into scripture and quickly bonded and made lifelong friends. I have also enjoyed participating in various women’s Bible studies over the past few years, and I absolutely love that our church is mission-minded and so warm and welcoming to newcomers. First Baptist is also one of the most *generous* churches I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of, and I am a better, stronger believer today because of the influence and teaching of the good people here.

5 /5 Faith Callahan: First Baptist Church......IT SAVES LIVES LITERALLY* AS WELL AS SOULS!! I know, because they have saved mine and educated me on the way to live a happy and peaceful life. Its so simple. Today its more important to BELIEVE in what you dont see, believe in what you feel inside. Listen to ( some people refer to it as your gut instinct) when in fact its God. (The Holy Spirit). Since the day I began to focus on this I have experienced a peacefulness that cant be found in this world. Its so REAL that you will have no doubt it is part of whats to come only by the one true Creator of Life......God. Anyone who is able to have an open mind will have found truth/knowledge. What more could you desire in this life.

5 /5 Doretha Weyant: We Love FBCNewnan! If you are looking for a loving, caring church where the whole Word of God is taught each Sunday, then this is the place for you. Wonderful kids programs 3 yr-high school teaching them the love of Christ! Sunday School classes for all ages! Many opportunities for Christian service through mission trips home and abroad. Pastor Jimmy Patterson is a blessing as he teaches God’s Word each week.
