Revolution Church - canton

Erica Howell We found our home at Revolution Church...and I hope you do too! We joined Revolution Church about 2 years ago when we were looking for a new church home, one that would foster community AND spiritual growth. We found that and SO much more at Revolution. The people of Revolution are all wonderful...from the staff to the volunteers to the stewards (members). Pastor Jason is the lead pastor and is such a big reason for this becoming our home. I have never known a pastor to deliver and share the Word in such a way! He unpacks scripture in a way that youre able to understand and apply it into your own life and also does so in a way that really draws you closer to God, inspires you and creates accountability. Hes truthful yet gentle, personable and grounded, incredibly knowledgeable and well versed, and inspiring and encouraging. Thats the heart of Revolution...gentleness, love, acceptance while at the same time promoting spiritual growth, creating accountability, and keeping the Truth at the center of it all. I hope youll consider visiting soon...I would love to save you a seat!

Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church

Wendy Nguyen The church is beautiful. It’s small with glass window looking out into the wood. It has a family feeling because it isn’t so big like most Catholic Church I’ve been to. I really like the priest, Father Poloche. I’m not lying when I say he’s the only priest that can keep me focused on his preaches the entire time. I was able to understand the Bible because he explained it well, with his thorough research, careful explanation, and a little bit of humor. I’m very sad to learn today that he’s leaving. I’ve only attended mass here a handful of time but I can tell other parishioners really like him as well. I haven’t gone to church for a long time now, but I found myself wanting to make the effort to go to Sunday mass since I found this church. For those who says this church doesn’t offer English masses, the English mass is at 9 am every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and 5pm Saturday. I regret not looking at the church website to find the mass schedule. I read google reviews and assumed there’s no English mass here when the church is only 5 minutes from my apartment.

Hillside Community Church

Michelle Paul Hillside is a very welcoming, loving church where folks are treated like family. Pastor Clint preaches the Word of God truthfully in love. We have been at Hillside now for 3.5 years and the small family atmosphere feels like family. I love that the church still does plays and dramas with the kids and youth and has family events like the Easter Egg Hunt, church potluck socials, and other similar things. Pictures are of an Easter Drama the kids did and Easter Egg hunting in the field alongside the church.

St. Clements Episcopal Church

Rebecca Thomas You can feel LOVE at St. Clements and it is very Welcoming! Father Jamies sermons speak to my heart every sermon. Im proud to say St. Clements has been my home since 2001. The church has been through some transitions over the years. One thing has always been consistent with all the "pivots", the work parishioners give to our beautiful community & church. It is exhilarating. My 1st Sunday was the Sunday before 9/11/2001. It was a dreary chili rainy day, but the warm light from the parishioners was overpowering. I knew my 3 month old daughter and I had found our church home that I had been searching for the last 9 months when we moved to Cherokee county. Some Sundays I have to visit other churches because of work, and I will have to say, without a doubt, no other church is nearly as welcoming, loving & FUN! There are 2 completely different style services. If you want a traditional Episcopal service with traditional hymns, go to the 11 oclock service. If you prefer a nontraditional/contemporary service with upbeat music from the Joyful Noise Band & the children are engaged during the service (there is a nursery should you prefer), then go to the 9 am service. What is so AMAZING is the combined service on the 1st Sunday of Every Month (& a few other holiday services) at 10 am where both services experience the tradition mixed with the modern. Its great to see all the members worship together. Not to mention the incredible potluck after the combined service in Davis Hall (so be sure to go across the parking lot after the service). Also, every Sunday, go to Davis Hall to enjoy fellowship during coffee hour. Its great to chat with old friends and meet new friends. Come check out the short service on Wednesday at 6:15 pm. Afterwards, join our growing faithful Youth Group and Adult Bible Study. There are so many growing different programs for anyone to join. Its amazing to see Gods love at work. This is a church that shows the community love through the outreach program, so come join us. St. Clements doors are ALWAYS open to ALL people!!!

Liberty Hill UMC at the Mill

Steve P After relocation to the Canton area two years ago, we were in search of an inclusive church where all are welcome and loved. We found that church home in Liberty Hill which is one of the few Methodist churches in Cherokee County that will not disaffiliate and is a Lighthouse Congregation. Very cool facility located within The Mill with a dynamic new pastor in Rev. Dr. Eric Lee. Liberty Hill provides a meaningful worship experience focused on the Gospel. Incredibly kind and loving congregation that cares for each other. Lots of opportunities for service to the community through various ministries which was important to us. Very casual environment with contemporary music. Definitely worth a visit.
