1 /5 DS B: I went in to get a ring resized. They don’t do this type of thing in-store anymore and said they’d have to send it out, which made me uncomfortable, so I decided to go elsewhere.
What I did not care for was the way they handled my ring. I handed it to them to inspect. Normally a jeweler will take out a countertop pad to put jewelry on. They did not, so when giving my ring back, the woman DROPPED IT onto the glass display case/counter. She didn’t hand it to me or even place it down, she dropped it. So unprofessional and careless. This makes me think that this “jewelry store” is more of an expensive gift shop, as a jewelry store professional would know how to handle jewelry, especially a customer’s piece. If that is how they handle pieces in front of customers, how careless are they when you’re not around?
