Josh Kolakoff Fantastic church. The spirit is alive and well in this church. My wife and I have been looking for a while for a church to call home. We found it. From the first visit we felt great about it. I took my parents today and they really liked it as well. The pastor speaks from his heart with real passion. It’s a smaller church with a comfortable atmosphere. I don’t prefer the giant churches that feel more like a concert or a club. This church focuses on true worship and I feel that the pastor has God in his heart.

Gail Guerrieri Overall, this is one of the best churches I’ve been too in a long time. Recently, after attending Bible school, and some other events, including so-called Christians hurting me deeply and viciously in a way that I couldn’t even believe; I was turned off from organized religion and most churches altogether. But I met someone immediately after relocating to Lakeland who attended HOTFM, and challenged me to give it a try, describing HOTFM church as “the least religious church in Lakeland”, which sounded appealing at the time, so I attended. I was pleasantly surprised. Several of the members welcomed me openly, some even embracing me. They were just starting a class on emotional healing and deliverance at the time and that impressed me, to see ‘church people’ who are actually aware that there is desperately needed emotional healing, deliverance and support in the church. Yes we have Jesus, but often times most people need some form of help or healing, even at least emotional healing, whether recent or pain and trauma of the past. As Christians we need to be aware of what we need as a church and a body, and what we need mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. There’s is so much more church. We are not a building, we are the body of Christ and we need help, and mostly we need each other. There’s is so much more, and we need to draw closer to Jesus and to one another. “They will know you by your love (for one another)”. Jesus

David Best church in all of florida. When we can’t make it we watch it live online. Coy and Brook are awesome. They are my family !

Carol Stehman Thus was our first time visiting the church. Went on Easter Sunday. Its our sons church. Pastor Jason and his wife Lis were very nice. It had a good vibe, and the worship team were quite good but very loud. Loved all the praising and raising hands/arms to give God his due. Well be visiting again

Jenni G Today was my third time going to this church and I must say I am very impressed! Always good singers and the preacher is just great! He really brings the Bible passages to life and comical at the same time! Definitely gonna be a regular face here can’t wait to get to know the people

Merrisue Kroes I have always been welcomed with a smile and a friendly" hello "at Together church. I have yet to find a more enthusiastic group of Christians in any church I have attended in the past. Our pastor sends a clear message every Sunday. To all the congregation, Thank you for making my Sundays the best day of the week!

Looking Staff This Church Cancelled a concert by musical group Votave, last minute. Allegedly, based on rumor and a similar issue with another previously scheduled band, they were cancelled because the some singers are gay. Shameful. I was looking forward to the concert along with many, many others who you have now turned away from ever considering this ‘church’. And I am not gay.

Jaydon Sinning-Martinez This church changed my life i have learned so many things. I do not plan on leaving any time soon they are all like family to me. If you wanna have an awsome time and meet some awsome people i highly recommend. And they also have a wednsday event every single wednsday for grades 6th - 12th it is such an awsome time.

Amanda Walls This congregation has been our church family since its founding. People genuinely love each other here, even though we come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Authentic, safe, and small kids and youth ministries where everyone feels (and is!) welcome. Our family life has been forever transformed by being part of a church where every one of us - even our teens who have grown up here - feel real ownership of and love for this community of believers.

Anna Redman I think it’s disgusting that this church would plan an event to directly counter Polk Pride and spew their messages of hate, evil, and closed-mindedness. As a lifelong devout Christian, I believe God loves everyone and I believe that people who use the word of God out of context to chastise people aren’t Christians, or God-like people at all. Hell is open and waiting for all of you.

George (Silly Barefooter) Well I was going to give the food pantry a 3 star because my autism doesnt click well with that 1 guy so to avoid problems today, I wore my flip-flops and learned that I can be barefoot because of what I said last time and they know I would prove every word I said so theyre OK with me being barefoot each time for the many reasons: - Im autistic & being barefoot seems to be beneficial to my Autism. - Theres laws that protects both sides so as soon as I get out of my car, I had already agreed to the terms of service that I cant and wont sue due to contributory negligence (My injuries while barefoot = my fault). - I can prove that I had been barefoot to 330+ places here in Lakeland that has no problems + other places like IKEA, as also the Tampa & Nashville airports (except for boarding/exiting the plane). - Its a church. I could use your beliefs by mentioning about Jesus being barefoot before. Surprisingly I didnt need to say that here because this church seems to believe "Love thy neighbors" (Leviticus 19:18 if Im understanding Google right. I stopped being religious a long time ago but respect those with their religious beliefs as long as they respect me being non-religious.). With that said, and thanks to the 2 thatll take care of that 1 guy if he tells me "You need to wear shoes (flip-flops)" that they will take care of him on it, that I feel this church deserves 5 stars. Beside, I donated stuff to their thrift shop barefoot and the cashier and other employees had no problem with it as otherwise their competition would had been Goodwill on the south side.

Laurie Dennison We moved to Lakeland about 7 months ago & wanted to settle in an active & welcoming Baptist church. Well, Lakes Church fits the bill & then some. Were in a very friendly & warm Connect class (Adult Sunday School), Ive joined a womens Bible study, fabulous childrens programs, Pastor Aaron is an amazing pastor who teaches right from Scripture. Miranda Cook This has been my church home for about 5 years now and I realized it day one of walking through the doors. I have never been in a more loving, non-judgmental atmosphere then at this church. Our pastors Robbie and Elizabeth Ratcliffe have two of the biggest servants hearts that Ive ever met, serving our community strictly voluntary and completely real. They dont stay quiet about their struggles in life and they dont act like they are above anyone. This is our forever church home, my kids love it And I can imagine yours will too. So if youre looking for a place to fit in, feel loved and have people to do life with this is a good place to start because the connections are real and the people are humble. We all just want to worship Jesus and serve others as he served us. So stop by and come let us love on you.
