5 /5 Joe Broff: I would like to see Westminster Abbey! The website is fabulous!
1 /5 donnie mcdow: this church is taking care of people here ILLEGALLY-holding fundraisers for them when citizens of this country need help/homeless and vets need help-i tried talking with him but he had an answer (not really) for it all
5 /5 Hernan & Susie Gonzalez: I think "Faith at Work" best describes the Westminster Presbyterian congregation. It has also been described as "small but mighty" as demonstrated by the many community outreach activities in which the church actively participates including providing housing for homeless families as well as weekly food donations . It is also active in environmental concerns and has a certified butterfly garden. For me, Westminster offers an authentic ministry, open to everyone and with love for all.
5 /5 Colin Hines: I joined Westminster Presbyterian about eight years ago. As a child I had no real experience with church and I definitely never saw myself as someone who would be attending a church regularly. I happened to be attending a non-religious community group that rented space at Westminster and noticed that the group I was meeting with would be moved from our regular meeting spot every six or eight weeks. I went to inquire about this with the office and they informed me that they were housing homeless families and that week that we were moved was the week that they need to set up cots and provide food for those families. I was taken aback that this church was actually doing what I believe a church should be doing. I joined because I wanted to be involved in that kind of service to my community and I’ve learned that Westminster is involved in dozens of ways with Gainesville and the greater community serving and providing for those who are seeking. I’m not sure how other churches are since I haven’t really attended one in any kind of depth but the transparency is also refreshing. The budget is available for anyone to see and we do put our money where our mouths are ….. based on our support of specific local as well as non-local organizations that do great work. I found my church family here and I hope you decide to give it a chance. We are loving and will support you on your faith journey wherever that may lead, especially if it is on the path of service to those less fortunate or those in need.

Dwight Unfortunately my 1st time attending this church was for a 5yr old funeral. But the pastor of the church and atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back to visit on a not so sad occasion.

Pastor Philip is a world-class educator. His messages simultaneously encourage and challenge while also providing scriptural context and understanding.
This church as a whole does an excellent job with community outreach and offers a wide range of services, including a free kids boutique and benevolence program.
The Sunday morning worship isnt as flashy or concert-like as some other churches, but its sincere and enjoyable.
