TGH Transplant Institute

Betty Johnson Tampa General is a really good hospital. Ive had to be in there twice now, for knee surgery and for heart problems and each time I was very impressed. I have met only one staff who wasnt just so very very nice to me and to family. That means to me that the working conditions are good and in a med center thats really important for the patients. If your doctor sends you to Tampa Gen, feel confident its a good place.

USF Health Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology

High Steaks If you ever wanted to feel like just a box getting checked off on a list, you’re in the right place. Unfortunately it seems like their volume of patients has become far too much for them to handle with grace and it’s turned into patients getting treated as numbers on a sheet instead of human beings. I would advise looking elsewhere if you want a hands-on team that truly cares about finding you solutions quickly.

USF Health South Tampa Center for Advanced Healthcare

Nesia Mbow My mom had a great experience here. I brought her to her appointment 45 mins early and they got her in early. Friendly and through staff. Even the security was very pleasant but alert! Nice waiting rooms though the folks waiting were loud on their phones and such. If I gotta go to a hospital then this one was definitely a good choice.

Bay Area Hospitalists

Vitalie Sapteboi Had to call them to resolve a billing issue. I got some lady on the phone who said I would be getting a callback once she speaks to account manager. I provided them the number to call back and I didnt get a callback. I then called back again after a few hours and was told to wait for a call back. I asked the person to read back the phone number they had for me, and it was a different one. I then told them had I not called back, this would not have been resolved. Person was cutting me off to a point where I had to raise my voice and call her out for bad manners. Not once, but twice! Lets see if this time they actually get it right and actually call me back!!

TGH USF Health Bariatric Center

Scott McGee Dr. Docimo and his team are the best at what they do. Their multi layered pre surgical process that takes into account dietary, physical and mental aspects of bariatric surgery, do an excellent job of preparing you for what is to come. The surgery itself went off without any issues. Perhaps 2-3 days of minor pain but then no issues at all. The surgery was very clean and healed extremely well. Dr Docimo’s team has changed my life and extended it. If you are considering bariatric surgery, this is the team to go with. Likely one of the best in America.

AdventHealth Tampa ER

Tina Bland I had an awesome experience in the ED. My nurse Savanna, Dr. Saavedra Roman, and PA-C Gregory C. were excellent and took the best care of me and my family during my brief stay in the ED. Gregory C., PA-C sutured my chin after an accident I had. He aligned the margins of my skin up perfectly and is healing better than I thought it would. Thank you for the best possible care! I would definitely recommend the ED at Tampa Advent Healtj.

TGH Specialty Center at Healthpark

Lindi Tolu The pediatric center is lovely. I can tell they care, and my daughter has received excellent and comprehensive care from Tonya Smith!! Another plus is that there is no tv show playing in the waiting room, but instead there are health tips for children and young adults as well as the time, and temperature, and other fun facts this was very refreshing. Thank you Tampa General pediatrics!

USF Health Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology

Bruce Youdontneedtoknow I have tried to use USF as my primary source of medical care for several years, and was doing well. I will never visit the internal medicine department there again. That was due to a interaction with Dr. Popvotsky who leads the internal medicine department.. I wont go into details, but the level of disrespect I was shown was "off the charts". I have had no issues with any other Dr. there until this occured. No matter what name you select there, they are all working under him to the best of of my knowledge, and he will be involved in your visit. Use the resources there, but select another Dr. Out of the USF system for primary care.
