1 /5 Melissa Galdamez: My comment is not about religious services, but about the food bank. People who are not bilingual come to that place. One of the volunteers discriminated against a friend today for not speaking English. My question is ? If you were there to help the needy, why were you so rude? the principles and values of a volunteer are: to be helpful, educated and with a heart willing to help whoever he needs. treat how you would like to be treated!! It is unfortunate that these situations occur in these places. It hurts and bothers me because I heard how my friend cried when she was discriminated against. Nobody deserves that treatment , less in the presence of his daughter . There being people who speak Spanish, no one listened to her until later, trying to justify his attitude. This is unfair .
