Throne of Grace Family Church - Bradenton (FL)

R L Last Sunday, in my quest to find a "home" Church, I visited Bayshore GardensCommunity Church. What a lovely, warm, welcoming, environment. I felt right at home. Service was moving, the Pastor, full of personality and warmth, gave a great sermon. Afterwards there was an incredible spread of food for all to enjoy. I wiil, indeed visit this church again, and urge you to do the same. Rosie

June The comments below were from my first two visits. I went to the 11:00 service on my 3rd Visio and wow what a great welcome I received ! The Lord lead me there a third time and he knew where he wanted me to be. I have also been to the first service again and found it welcoming. I am also enjoying the Friday morning bible study and am looking forward to getting more involved. My first post I have come to your church twice now and not found it very welcoming. I as a visitor to your church was not spoken to on my first visit but the sermon was spot on. So I decided to come a second time hoping to find the congregation more welcoming. I went up to have coffee thinking someone would realize I was new and greet me. I did get a rushed good morning from the gentleman who was in a rush to grab a cup of coffee. But again not welcomed to your church. I filled out a card found on the back of the chair in front of me after the service. I had no idea what to do with it and finally asked someone. The gentleman showed me a box box on the wall to put it in and started to back away and I gave him a funny look. He then told me to have a good Sunday. Is this the right impression for fellowship? Although the sermon by pastor Brian was exactly what I have been searching for in a church. And the entire service was wonderful and inspirational. So I am torn, where is the right house of worship for me???? Still praying for the lord to bring me to the right house of worship.

Jennifer Kirby Searched for a few years to find a church I could belong to. Finding some I enjoyed but it just didn’t feel like home. I reached out to my old youth pastor and basically begged him to move from Nashville, TN to Bradenton so my kids could grow in faith the way I did through his sermons. He suggested Pastor Sam at West B. I watched online first and really enjoyed the sermons. I finally got the courage to go in person and from day 1 I felt at home. They called me by my first name, took me to coffee to get to know me, invited me to Bunco, podcast and provide so many fun activities for my babies. My tween enjoys going to church. My toddler gets excited when he hears we are going. They have supported and encouraged my foster journey. Even though we don’t have any family within a 5 hour radius, we have built a family with the church. I can’t say enough awesome things about this church community.

J Bisenius It has been a pleasure to attend mass here. We are thinking about joining. Father Robert is vey kind and welcoming. A beautiful church and place to worship.

Carol Chartier I visited GCC because I have been working on Sundays and couldnt attend my regular church. I appreciate that they had a Saturday evening service available. The parking was packed and I had to park down the street but immediately a golf cart picked me up and took me to the front door. I was greeted and even met a few people that were kind, friendly and helpful. The church was bright and clean, coffee and water available. The auditorium was smaller than I expected and it was packed, but I found a seat right away. The service was quick and enjoyable. The music and unique performance they did that night was nice and the pastor spoke well. This is a great place to get introduced to christianity as it was superficial and easy to understand. Where I am in my life I need a little more in depth teaching of the word but that is because I have been growing in my relationship with the lord. I felt comfortable and at home here and would def visit them again. Thank you !

Lin&Anne Cook This is a wonderful church. We have attended here for about 15 years whenever we visit the area. The preaching is excellent, clear, and based on the Bible. The pastor has a robust knowledge of the Scriptures. The music is contemporary but good for all age groups. The people are extremely friendly. A great place for both those who live in the area and those who are vacationing to be loved, encouraged, and better understand the Bible.

Lisa Moscarello What a super living nativity they put on. Truly captured the spirit of Christmas and the reason for the season. They took care of everything from live animals to hot chocolate and cookies with sprinkles. They filled you up spiritually, as well as filling you with goodies, even hot coffee! After enjoying the living nativity, we got to view the polar express in the sanctuary on the big screen. As we were ready to go, we were taken back to our vehicle in a very comfy golf cart. Everyone there was extremely friendly.
