I was confirmed when I was a kid, attended all ccd classes wed nights was baptized when I was born in same church.My great grandparents came from Poland gave tens of thousands back when father hanon was priest. I was an alter boy, and I carried the crucifix in front of the priest lit the candles, assisted the priest with communion for 6 years I always helped in the parish Hall when they were having dinners gatherings get togethers I was a great kid to the church very loyal. my grandfather Leo plays gave thousands to church also. St Marys of the lake listed as " share the light fund" with Duke energy. Today I asked for help and they turned me away. Im so sad I felt horrible asking Ive always worked. They dont help the community. Ive l lived here my whole life. My grandfather was the king night of knights of Columbus in the 80s anyone can look it up. Leo s Palys. Im his grandson. Im just having a hard time finding work because Im a middle aged man and nobody will hire me. I just needed a little help to keep my lights on and I was turned away. Even though you denied me & my family a very small request. I hope God blesses you.So you can help others in need in the future. Just remember WWJD.
