4 /5 Arnell Hill: A welcoming spiritual environment. St. Mary applies the Word via actions and programs they carry out. A variety of elders, deacons, evangelist share the workload in presenting the sermon/message for that Sunday. Sunday school follows the traditional Baptist manual that most Baptist churches have decided to follow. That means some Sunday school topics may not be relevant to current events. I asked the question why dont they get off script if the events of the world dictate it. The corporate response was that a scripture may not apply at the moment but it may one day. So are we supposed to remember a lesson from months ago? In general those who teach Sunday school are effective and give clear current examples. No virtual method to connect to bible study or mens Ministry. Sunday service is streamed live via Facebook. Communion only given once since June 2024.Communion is not a regular occurrence. Not really a church that teaches the Word. I asked one person on the staff for a link to a website that offers biblical answers to spiritual questions. The response I got was that seeking answers was not like doing a research paper. Not exactly a helpful answer for someone who just hungers to understand the Word more. There are several members on the church staff who have doctorate degrees or who are pursuing doctorates. So I do wonder if they will or did not have to do any research or search spiritual websites in the process of getting their degrees? Overall this church does give back to the community. If you need instruction and guidance you may want to go elsewhere.

Our reviews from Google had since disappeared, so here is our review redux: 7 gold stars are what the beautiful people of this house of God rightfully deserve! From the moment you enter their place of worship, youre greeted with an abundance of smiles, warmth, & soul. Never have I felt such an overwhelming sense of positive energy & genuine enthusiasm by a congregation while they actively worshiped The Great Architect of Our Universe®! The stained glass artwork inside the chapel windows naturally illuminated & accentuated the pieces vivid colors. Pastor Dean has a heart so big that he can passionately & selflessly share it through his words of faith towards God. A woman named Chastity, who I sat near, greeted me kindly. Congratulations to all the 2022 academically elevated young women & men who have pushed themselves to achieve higher education! Shout-out to Trinity For Being afforded a heartwarming second chance by her loving community, which resulted in her really cool new MICROWAVE! May Your New Appliance teach you valuable lessons in timing! l pray your hot pockets will forever be blessed at just the right temperature to sustain you & not scold you as you reach your fullest potential so that you too can help others the same. During the end of that days service, a group felt it was necessary to pray in a circle around me since I was the newest member.
