Spirit of Christ Lutheran Church - Lake City (FL)

Brandon Robinson I contacted the church via Facebook. I have epilepsy and can not drive. The priest arranged to pick me up himself, and was right on time. The congregation was very welcoming and did not care about the fact that I am gay. The worship service was exactly that, worship and prayer with a very short sermon. The focus was definitely more on worshipping God and communion with God and each other; and less about the fire and brimstone that I have experienced at other churches during my life. I will definitely be returning. There was also an after service snack and coffee gathering in the churchs Parish Hall. From what I understand there is also a supper served on Wednesday evenings after a Bible study service.

J B I absolutely love this church. It is On Fire for God. Services are fantastic. The music is good. The ease of getting involved in appropriate groups is great. My daughter went to the youth group during Sunday service and came out so excited. Pastor Samuel, Pastor Chris, Pastor Ray, Miss Kim, and Lynda are just some of the many members that make this building into a church family.

Amberlyn Faulstich Dwelling Place truly is a holy habitation where the presence of God dwells. I have received so much love from the Body of Christ here and they’re my family now! The teachings go deep in Scripture revealing God’s heart toward His Bride, what He did for us on the cross, and how we now have access to deep intimacy with Jesus. And the focus is on uniting as one Body by one Spirit to glorify only one, and that is King Jesus! And everyone is allowed the opportunity to discover and grow in their giftings in Christ here! I have been given that opportunity in the worship and God has grown me so much since attending Dwelling Place! I’m so grateful for God leading me here and for how our pastors let the Spirit move and flow how He wants to. And they seek to serve the Body of Christ to edify them and help them see each one’s identity and role in the Body and grow deeper in intimacy with Jesus!

Wella Nana This place gives food away every Thursday, and I find very nice people volunteers that bring food out to your car with a smile and a blessing! And the Bible says" Because you did this to one of my little ones, you have done it onto me" May The Almighty bless this Congregation!

anthony houston Cant say much because Ive yet to go, but Im grateful they allow meetings there.
