Miss D Oh my goodness! We are fresh from Houston, TX and I was so nervous to find someone to do my sons locs. He is 8 and has been locd for about 6 years. He loves his hair and its very thick and he has a lot of hair! Micey was suggested to us and the experience was nothing short of amazing!!! She responded quickly, answered my questions and was very pleasant. We got there a couple minutes early and she was ready for us already! No wait! She was nice to my sleepy baby. I didnt know what to expect so I washed my son hair the day before but the joke was on me she washed his hair too. I was like "oh we coming back" in my mind. We got there around 2pm and left 3:14pm. She started his retwist and my tender headed soon chilled and played his game the whole time. I didnt hear an ouch or oww. Her and another stylist double teamed his retwist and style. It looks soooo adorable and nice!!! Im super grateful! My son gets shy when he really likes something and as soon as she said he was done he walked out quick as heck! By the time I caught up with him, he had a HUGE smile on his face! My baby is happy! Oh, I forgot to mention the ambiance. It is really nice inside. They played R&B music so I was singing allll the songs. The decor was demure and mindful. Plenty parking. Easy to locate. You cant miss it! And if you cant tell yet, I would absolutely suggest Micey and this salon. We will be back!

Marlena Bruno I have been going to MiMi for several years and she is truly the best hairstylist that I’ve ever had. She cares for her clients hair and follows the right regimen to improve the overall health. She is extremely professional and I would recommend her to anyone!

Heather Dailey I was referred to DA Hair Studio because my hair needed some serious TLC and my regular stylist retired. Well, I am so glad to have found my hair and scalp doctor; Dee is a true professional with serious skills. She made sure I understood everything she was recommending and brought my hair back to life. She also made sure I didn’t get a service that would further damage my hair; she educated me. Never have I had a scalp treatment, but Dee added it because, as I now understand, healthy hair starts from within and at the scalp. Wow, who knew how amazing a scalp treatment would feel. Though it is intended to help the scalp and hair, especially as my hair is starting to thin around my forehead and temples, I felt tension easing from my head to my ankles. To end this awesome appointment, I left with hair that looked fresh, healthy, nourished and beautiful. She added dimension to my long hair through amazing layers with so much weight being lifted, and instead of additional damage though highlights, she did a treatment and glazing, which totally helped my existing colors to be toned, yet pop in a very natural looking way. Definitely exceeded expectations; it was an amazing experience. Needless to say, my next appointment is booked. The search for a new stylist, or should I say “hair doctor”, is over. Thank you, Dr. Dee!

Lf Visited Stephys Beauty Lounge yesterday for root touch up, blow out and flat iron. Yunise helped me to walk out a different lady than I went in. My color was matched perfectly. My hair was silky smooth and manageable again. Amazing job. Looking forward to my next visit there.

Rhonda Zorman This place is a TEN! I have gone to multiple salons all over South Florida, but have settled on Over the Edge for the past couple years. I started with Camille doing my nails, then added her facials. She is personable and does a beautiful job on both. I’ve used all the nail girls, they are all great. I feel confident they are not cutting corners and use good sterile technique. I have also started having my hair done. For years I have been unhappy with my hair, then found Linda. She actually listened to me and my hair is exactly what I wanted. My hair is foiled. She is very methodical in her technique, which I love. So many hair dressers have rush through doing my hair so I ended up with big blobs of weird shades of blonde, and rarely would do a true full highlight. Not Linda! With her you get a true full highlight. She also did even, fine strands of blonde that I have searched and searched to find. Plus she corrected my other that was not highlighted. All for a great price. All staff is friendly and warm, and you can tell they have all worked together for years. Very little staff turn over that says a lot about the place. Also very professional and knowledgeable about the latest trends and products, but never get the hard sell. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!
