Christina McGuire I recommend Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church and School to everyone who wants a safe, nurturing environment for their children. Our daughter had the best experience there and I credit Ms. Laura for being the most amazing VPK4 teacher that gave our daughter, Ava, a great 1st year of school which instilled a love of learning she still has at age 12. Ava is now proudly playing the drums for the Praise Service there on occasional Sundays taking turns with her father. We love our SOTC community and invite anyone to come and check it out. You will not be disappointed!

This is a powerful and prayerful family that cares, encourages and lifts you up! From the pastor right down to the youngest member, you get love so pure it makes your heart jump with the joy of the lord. The worship is beautiful and the teaching of the word fills your heart to overflowing. It is a blessing!

Ariel W. The First Christian Church of Ft Lauderdale was started by Maude Bollinger and Ruth Repp who offered Sunday school classes on Repps front porch to the Ft Lauderdale community which was only 143 people at that time. Church services were held at several locations in Ft. Lauderdale including the old Fort Lauderdale Sentinel building. In 1925, a benefactor donated land for a church at the corner of Southeast 13th Street and Southeast Third Avenue on the site of a former rock pit. Lumber to build the church arrived on Sept. 16, 1926. The very next day the Hurricane of 1926 destroyed the church records, lumber, the tent they were working out of, and all of their equipment. Two children and two adult members of the congregation lost their lives. The church rose from this devastating loss and completed the church building in 1927. A later expanded building incorporates the original church structure. I love a historic church and I was able to check out First Christian Church of Ft Lauderdale during a tag sale. They held the sale in their basement! I was amazed that there was a building with an actual basement in South Florida. The congregation was so warm and welcoming and I got invited to church service by Katherine. This church is gorgeous and you can feel the history within its walls. Church services are held every Sunday at 10:45.

Egyptian King This is an amazing church they really truly go by the bible teaching, has many great members. They have all races here and if you enjoy great singing this is your place to come. Also if you think you have any questions and needs answers Dr. W.F. Washington is there to answer them all. You wont have an amazing time unless you attends this church ⛪.

Jaclyn Graff This was my first Candlelight experience and it was amazing. Collins Quartet x Fleetwood Mac x The Sanctuary Fort Lauderdale Church x Candlelight Concert = The Best. I will definitely go again.
