1 /5 Sonia R.: I went to the ER and the nurse and security personnel were very nice and unfortunately, it was the doctor who left me disappointed. I was upset at my visit and heard her in the hallway mocking me and letting the other nurse know why I was crying. Nobody wants to be in the emergency room, ever, it’s already a stressful and unpleasant enough situation. Hearing the professional in the hallway making light of how someone reacts was very disappointing. For someone who is supposed to treat someone and care for people’s health, a little empathy would go a long way. Even if she felt it just had to be said and she had a point to make, perhaps not in the hallway where everyone can hear would be more appropriate.

3 /5 TF Farrow: I came in late evening this last August.. I was told this was the best ER in the area, I was greeted by security officer who was very friendly, I went in and there was only 1 other person in the waiting area.. the young man who took my information was friendly and informative.. I had not been in the area long and am here temporarily to get and receive specialized care for chronic health issues.. because Ive had major open heart surgery in the past as well as many chronic ongoing confirmed health diagnosis I know that trying to tell or explain this can be confusing and complicated especially since I have memory recall issues.. so I keep a folder with me for emergencies to help assist me when I must give information. The nurse I saw was in for only a moment, she was professional but had no patience to let me answer her questions,and even with my list given for her to list my medications it still was done incorrectly,I told them I was there because of extreme pain from a fall on my back. I was running a temperature close to 100 degrees and my blood pressure was checked and high.. probably more than normal from pain. I never had blood drawn or anything else done until the nurse returned half hour later to say they would do a x-ray to see if anything major showed up.. I do not take pain medicine but the 30mg shot of toradol gave no relief ( I only said I felt no pain relief but chose to not say anything else for fear of being labeled "drug seeker") which I know happens everywhere. I had the Dr. Benjamin Lehr I believe was his name stick his head in for a fast minute to say no breaks shown.. my records say he did a extensive physical of me, but even with memory issues I can say with surety " He did Not".. I could hear the nurses saying it was late and to hurry me up and out.. I maybe I seemed a simple woman, but as a educated past teacher for many years I am not.. I attempted to ask what else I could do, was told as I was escorted out 2 hrs later to just use heat.. or cold?? I have pulmonary fibrosis and coincidentally after seeing my scan results saw it noted no breaks but bilateral dependant atelectasis.. they never commented on it, never addressed it..and for all they know I could had collapsed lungs.. but I guess thats not relevant. The nicest staff was the young man checking me in who came back and chatted with me throughout my visit, and the kind security man.. I am disabled with Medicare.. now 4months later I have a small balance that I get notices on every week..( I live on a tight budget alone) no mercy in that regard...but the facility was clean, and maybe if not for a weekend night my care would had been a bit more through.. I can say this the ER is better than some and most Ive been too.. so rate that as you may.. but care today isnt like it was when I was a younger woman and I think it is lacking most everywhere you go, if your lucky you are there on the right day,if not to bad, its a game of Russian Roulette no matter where you are. To the non- medical staff working that night..thank you for your kindness and empathy.

5 /5 Kat: No wait, came in and ended up having kidney infection, I was diagnosed, treated, and out the door in 3 hours. The charge nurse was rude but my main nurse Aimee and doctor Dunavant were incredible. Super kind and attentive. Quiet ER, not busy, labs came back fast. Thank you guys so much. I would recommend this free standing emergency room for sure.

1 /5 Jaye: I am only giving them a one star because the first time I went the staff was incredibly nice and tried to actually help me. I will never recommend this place to any of my loved ones. I came here twice within the last week. If you are a new mother with complications.. STAY AWAY. I had two ultrasounds done that showed abnormal findings and it wasnt until I went into a different hospital it was shown I was having an ectopic pregnancy which is life threatening. The second time I went to the hospital the doctor was asking me a whole bunch of weird questions and I could tell something was wrong but he did not disclose what was really happening. My friend came to the ER with me and could tell something was wrong. When I was discharged the second time they didnt give any paperwork related to my tests for my pregnancy. When I went to the other ER they were able to see in my previous ultrasound I was having an ectopic pregnancy and this should have been caught. If you can find a different ER go there instead. Seems like they just wanted to gain a check out of me instead of actually helping.
