3 /5 Joclyn Bove: I went in to the ER for excruciating pain, the worst Ive ever had, and my neck was completely sideways. I arrived around noon and was there for 7 hours. It seemed like nobody was very concerned, or attentive. The nurse was kind enough but lacking in updates. It took them several hours to administer any form of pain killer, and than sent me to sit in the waiting area for "15 minutes" it wasnt until 45 minutes later I was crying in pain that the nurse returned and said they would admit me, at this time they gave me IV treatments and left immediately, not to be seen again for hours. I thought maybe I was forgotten. Inthe end, after 6 hours of so I was given morphine which finally stopped the surging pain but the nurse administered it and tried to walk away meanwhile I felt like I couldnt breathe and I am unformiliar with this kind of medication I was scared, I called out to her and she dismissed it as normal and would pass. She wasnt wrong, it did but I was still scared. Even so by the time I left I was infact doing better, I feel like the doctors and nurses could have served me better. I was scared and in the worst pain in my life. In 33 years this was only my 4th visit to the hospital and the other 3 visits were pregnancy/ child birth related. I would give 5 stars had the nurses/ doctors paid more attention to me and given me treatment in a more timely manner because, as I said I did leave feeling slightly better and much better now that I am taking my prescription medicines.

5 /5 Leisa Gibson: My experience was the best. The lady at registration was so nice and assuring not to worry about the procedure; and I was in good hands. I can truly say every person I came in contact with displayed professionalism. They introduced themselves and explained everything we were about to do. I felt so calm and was shock when woken after the procedure. I will truly state, "I was in the hands of Angels." Thats how I felt about my visit and encounter. Thank you all for taking care of me.

4 /5 Jerry Hammond: Super friendly and caring staff every step of the way from check-in to post-surgery. I felt like I was in good hands through-out. They were very determined to confirm my identity for the procedure, and asked certain important questions redundantly to ensure my safety. The facility was clean and the OR was state of the art. Apparently I was unusually sensitive to the anesthesia and I was “loopy” after my surgery, so my memory is sketchy, but my surgeon doctor discussed the positive outcome of my procedure with my friend who was kept in the loop throughout the procedure. He was my second set of ears to insure I understood the verbal post op instructions. They were a little different from the written ones, so that was helpful. I’m at the end of 1 day post-surgery and am doing fine and seem to be right on track in terms of expected condition. I wish I could remember the names of all the staff but Natasha at registration was wonderful and upbeat, and Christina who assisted me post surgery was terrific as well with a great sense of humor. I wish I’d had a chance to discuss the surgery with my surgeon, Dr Lewis (also very upbeat and informative), once I became more lucid, but at least my buddy was able to communicate this for him.

5 /5 W G: Everyone we encountered from the ER to the hospital stay for 4 days was wonderful. My elderly mother was rushed to the ER after a slip and fall that could have killed her. Nurse Danielle in the ER is a beautiful human being. She was very friendly, kind and caring. She kept us informed of my mothers condition and test results as soon as had the information. It is apparent that she genuinely cares about her patients. Upstairs on the third floor my mother received the best care she has ever had at any hospital. Every from house keeping to the nurse supervisor was friendly, helpful and supportive. Nurses Crystal, Daniela and Caroline treated her like she was their mother. Last but certainly not least Dr. Torrado is what every physician should strive to be. He was friendly, personable and really took the time to explain to us in laymans terms what my mothers condition was, what was being done about it and why. I wish he was her primary doctor. I am very grateful to all of them and thank them from the bottom of my heart.

5 /5 Michelle Gambirazio: I had such an amazing experience with everyone involved throughout my procedure. All the nurses and staff were genuinely concerned and looking out for my well being. I’ve had a few surgeries in the past, and all have gone very well. But my experience at Memorial was by far the most pleasant of them all. So grateful!!
