Magic Dental Care Palm Bay - Palm Bay (FL)

1 /5 Elizabeth Bond: Just like others on here if I can give a negative star I would. I brought my seven year-old son here because he broke a tooth and had been in pain for three days. We are self-pay and it’s known because it’s in the chart. My son went back and they returned with his treatment plan stating that they can put a crown on a baby tooth. My husband asked that since it’s a baby tooth if they can just extract it because we couldn’t afford the $500 for a crown. The person who spoke to my husband said they would speak to the dentist and then came back saying they are not willing to extract tooth that he recommends putting a crown on it although it is a baby tooth and will fall out with the crown anyways. My husband said that’s exactly the point it’s a baby tooth and it’s going to fall out anyways so why not just extract it since the crown was too expensive. I’ve read other reviews that stated they do extractions on baby teeth, so I don’t understand why they denied us that option. My son was sent home to experience even more pain while we look for another dentist that is sympathetic to self-pay patients who can’t afford the high price of a crown on a baby tooth that is going to fall out either way. I don’t understand how other patients with the same situation get their tooth extracted, but our son was denied the relief of not having a broken tooth and being in pain. Not to mention the fact that my son is susceptible to an infection because of the broken tooth and instead of helping they just sent us on our way to look for a second opinion and a referral to a dentist in Orlando that would cost even more money, leaving us with no option, but to come back to them. But we won’t be back. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry and with my complaint, I am going to add all of the reviews that have our sons similar situation where they helped and extracted the tooth.

5 /5 Katie Mcmahon: I brought my 3 young children 6 and under to this establishment, we had the most pleasant experience from the front desk to the doctor and all in between. Dani, Cynthia, Dion were so amazing with my children and so kind. I will absolutely be back to this establishment and I highly recommend it.

1 /5 Berna Johnson-Jenkins: Horrible service ! Receptionist and whomever else is working behind that glass have horrible customer service skills ! Appointments scheduled over the phone , then get all the way there ( waste of money ) and time … ( children missing school ) they tell you there isn’t an appointment set! Never will be returning . &renovate , people standing to sign in are being hit with the door to get back to you appointment and only 5 waiting area chairs!

2 /5 Ivelisse Ramos: Every time I take my children to treatment, and they need an appointment, I cant schedule one because they always say they are full, and you call every week and they tell you the same thing, that they are full.

5 /5 Lauren Knabel: Was able to get us in on extremely short notice. It was like magic! We called at 10:20 and they had an appointment for us at 11 o’clock! And then by 10:37 he was being seen by 10:55. He was out! That made us on time for his braces appointment.
