1 /5 April Licup: I had a ankle fracture accident,when 11am ,we arrived asking for a wheelchair no one even help us to pick me in my car. Those security just doing their cellphones and chilling. People in front desk didn’t care about patient needs. They didnt help us assist to go bathroom knowing that i have a fractured leg, the ipad person we talk too sound sleepy and couldn’t understand what she saying, all docusign was not friendly user , all in all i had a very bad experience in this place.Worse ER i’ve ever been. Nice xray tech and Doctor though.

3 /5 Nancy Soto: Took my mom and dr recommended a hospital stay for observation. My mom agreed and we waited 4 hrs for ambulance and my mom became mad at the wait and wanted to go home. I convinced her at 7pm to wait 1/2 hrs for more. At 7.30pm we were told it could still be 2-3 hrs more for the ambulance. We left. So I have to say it was not pleasant at all.

2 /5 Amber Lopez: My pregnant wife was taken from a dentist in Hunters creek to the Hunters Creek ER by an ambulance because she went unconscious multiple times while having a tooth extracted (not the dentists fault). Her blood pressure was dangerously low, and HR fell to about 40. I got a call from the dentist and rushed to the ER probably 5-10 minutes after she arrived there. I ran inside and saw a security guard at the front desk and frantically told him my wife just came in from the ambulance, and I was expecting him to say “ok follow me”. Instead, he continued sitting there and said “the doctor is checking her out now and no one can go in for about 20 minutes”. I was shocked because I had no idea if my pregnant wife was breathing, conscious, or even alive. I began pressing him and saying “so I cannot even see my wife, and I have no idea if she’s ok” and he stood his ground saying he wouldn’t let me in as he was obviously frustrated. So I ran out, ran over to the paramedics that were getting back in the truck and asked them if the woman they just took in was ok, and they said she was out of it and her blood pressure was extremely low, but they calmed me down. Then the security guard came out the side door and told me he would let me in about 20 minutes. I was furious and walked back to the front of the building and sat outside. He came out about 5 minutes later and said “do you want to see your wife?” with no remorse or compassion. And I said “yeah, I would have liked to see her the first time” and he quickly got defensive raising his voice saying “THIS IS MY HOSPITAL AND I MAKE THE RULES HERE. IF YOU DONT WANT TO FOLLOW THEM ILL GET YOU OUT OF HERE”. I pushed back telling him it’s insane how I couldn’t even se my wife and had no idea her condition. He continued to assert his dominance by standing in front of me trying to intimate me as I am holding back tears just wanting to see my wife. I bit my tongue because I knew that was the only way I could get through, so he finally let me in. I got to her and a nurse was with her, and a med student/intern or something. They were extremely nice and caring. I asked the nurse if the doctor had been in yet and he said no, and it wasn’t until about another 20 minutes until the doctor came in. So the security guard completely lied to my face saying “the doctor is with her now and said no one can come in”. Complete lie and kept me from knowing the state of my pregnant wife only to continue living in a world where he thinks he’s in complete control. Instead of lying he could have easily said “let me go check and see if it’s ok for you to come in”. The lack of compassion and sympathy he displayed was like nothing I’ve experienced before. He made my stressful/emotional morning 10xs harder. As I mentioned, the rest of the staff was wonderful, but unfortunately he dragged the entire experience much further down than what they could lift up.

1 /5 Jaii Sim: The nursing staff and doctor were great. I want to say thank you for the professionalism and care, the medical team showed my boyfriend last night! The down fall to this review is the security guard that was working in the front last night by the name of Kenneth! He was horrible and rude! When I arrived to the ER to the reception desk I told him that my boyfriend passed out and hit his head, could he go get help, instead he was fixated on having us wait and fill out the paper in the waiting room and stated to me if I wanted to be seen faster by the doctor , I should of called 911 and been brought in by ambulance. One thing I do know for sure is that a security guard does not have the medical credentials to triage a patient. So when Kenneth stated to me “if I wanted to have my boyfriend seen faster I should have call 911”, that is out of a security guards scope of work! This is scary and the way he was yelling at me was even more frightening. I’m very heartbroken because I work for HCA and I know this is not the mission we uphold.
