1 /5 Ashley Ann: I had the worst experience at Gel Nails in South Tampa. I was lied to about the price of my nails, and when I questioned it, the mid-aged lady owner aggressively argued with me. The lack of respect and professionalism was appalling. This is a family-run business, but the way they treat customers is unacceptable.
To make matters worse, she actually turned on her phone video recorder to record me, implying that I might not pay, which was incredibly disrespectful. Of course, I had every intention of paying, but this behavior was beyond unprofessional.
The prices are not worth the poor treatment or the subpar results. My nails look nothing like they usually do when I go to other salons in the area. I’ll never return to this place and will be sure to share my experience with friends and colleagues in South Tampa. I wouldn’t wish this kind of experience on anyone. Save yourself the disappointment and stay far away from this salon.
