Fresenius Medical Care at Lake City Medical Center - Lake City (FL)

5 /5 Lena M W: While driving back home from vacation, one member of our party started experiencing severe (almost debilitating) back pain. Unsure of what to do and where to go, I called Fresenius Medical Care since it was the closest ER to where we were in our trip. The staff was friendly and said to come on in to be seen. Upon arrival, the front desk lady only took 2 minutes to get our information. I asked how long it would take (since I noticed about 10 people in the waiting room) and she said maybe a minute or two. ((Really?)). But she was correct, because before we found a seat our member was being called back. Very impressive. In a matter of 30 minutes, we were in, out, and on our way. He was given some pain meds and the staff was so friendly that they gave him some graham crackers too since the meds were not to be taken on an empty stomach. Never have I had or heard of service that quick from an ER or Medical Center!! We saved this in our GPS since we travel from North FL to South FL often. Hopefully, we wont have to use it again, but if we do, this will be our number 1 choice. Thanks so much to the staff at Fresenius -- you made our detoured trip back home, manageable and less stressful!!
