Stephen Archie My wife and I had the blessed privilege of visiting Bethel Community Church last Lords Day and worshiping with the brethren under the ministry of Pastor Russ Atmore. The sermon was Christ centered and convicting. It "cut and comforted". We enjoyed sweet fellowship with the congregation afterwards and felt very welcomed. We so look forward to our next visit to the Sarasota area, God willing. Phil. 1:3.

Sophia Stone I have been searching for a Latin mass living in Punta Gorda and the closest ones are either Sarasota or Fort Myers. I tried Fort Myers first and it was not done in Latin and there was so much talking and disturbance that I got up and left after 10 mins. We decided to come to this one this week and I am so happy I did. Being highly empathetic I unfortunately can feel and sense when things are not right or fake or bad. With that said this church is absolutely wonderful. The outside is beautiful, the inside is beautiful and most important the pastor has a good heart and is a good man. Everyone is extremely genuine and there for worship and love and compassion. I went to the 7am mass because I prefer to start my day right. If you’re looking for a legitimate Latin Mass that feels good and is good then this is the one you want to go to. I also noticed there is a separate room for people with young children where they can still see the mass on a big screen, comfy chairs and a kitchen to help the moms. If you want to feel connected to God and feel love and compassion from others than this is the one for you. One of the best churches I have ever been too and I am so grateful they are here and offering what they do. I left with so much gratitude in my heart and that is exactly what church should do.

Mark M Its everything other folks have testified to. The people are very friendly. The new pastor as of a year ago speaks directly to you from his scriptures and from his life. You will be blessed by these people the Holy Spirit lives here.

JL Warren We attended the Sarasota first United Methodist Church for Easter Services 2024.. We were greeted warmly by members, and invited To place flowers on the Easter cross. This beautiful sanctuary had absolutely stunning stained glass windows! The music was absolutely outstanding —with pipe organ, full choir, brass and drums. Service was traditional with Easter Bible readings, messages, hymns, and prayers. All in all and absolutely wonderful Easter morning: we felt that we were greeted and participated fully as a part of this Christian community and worship.

Daniel Clissold I might have a bit of a biased opinion because i’ve been attending this church since birth, however the accepting faith community provided at First Presbyterian is overwhelming and I wouldn’t change a thing if I could.

Sheri Bennett-styckiewicz Just went to the 50th annual Singing Christmas Tree Spectacular. Its truly was a grand event. The video effects as well as the actual singing Christmas Tree . The opening act of the grand master of Ceremony ,his entrance from the video to opening the central doors all eyes look back to him coming in and singing down the aisle to his place on the grand stage still singing just the spectacular show Menship and presentation fantastic. then inactment of the 3 kings going down the aisle to present Jesus the gifts at his birth. The very real Camel carrying the 3 kings and the other animals coming with the shepherds to see the kings of kings Jesus llamas , sheep, donkeys just animals in general. Besides all of the other actors one after the other each doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend this enjoyable 2 hours . There at this time are a few more seats available. If not dont forget to go next year.
