5 /5 Sofia Wills: Out of all the mechanics in town that I’ve taken my cars to over the years, Computa Tune has been the most reliable and trustworthy. Jay and everyone there are absolutely amazing. As a woman, it’s common for mechanics to take advantage of that and charge out the stratosphere thinking I have no knowledge on cars, but Computa Tune has always been up front with me, giving me honest diagnostics, and doing honest work. They communicate every step of the way and answer all of my questions. It’s truly a relief to have a mechanic I can trust.

5 /5 Melissa Sorokin: Thank god I broke down right near this automotive shop! I had just driven from Miami, and my good fortune was to break down across the street from Computa Tune. They took my car in 8am, had it diagnosed by 11am, and had it fixed plus a free oil change by 4pm. Jay has great customer service. It’s hard to find an honest, fast and reasonable shop, especially far from home. I’m extremely grateful as now I can drive home with confidence.

1 /5 D Rib: ATTN: MY GATOR NATION Community BEWARE of this mechanic auto repair shop -Computa Tune 3200 SW 34th Street! On May 13, I came to this shop for front/rear brakes and rotors (installation only) based on an earlier quote of $175 per axle given 5 days prior. When I arrived, I was told a higher price of $249 per axle (installation only), but when I asked front desk person (Jay I believe was his name) why such increase he agreed to honor his original quote, which I appreciated at first. However, once the car was inside the garage, I was told that my lug nuts were misaligned and that this would now cost an additional ~$120 and 1hr more of labor. At that point, I decided not to proceed with the repairs at this shop. The extended wait time and added costs made me uncomfortable, and felt like I was being taken for a ride. Unfortunately, I later found out that my instincts were correct. While driving to the dealership to get a second opinion about the supposed misalignment lug nut, I discovered that the shop’s technician had broken my wheel lock key — likely while tightening the lugs nuts back on after I declined the service. Plus I was never informed that this damage happened. I lost a full day of work trying to resolve the issue & fix the car. The experience was not only dishonest but very unprofessional. It’s one thing to encounter unexpected issues during a repair; it’s another to see their damaging actions after declining service and be left with damaged equipment and zero accountability. I advise others in my GATOR NATION Community to be extremely cautious and AVOID this auto repair shop. From my experience, the shop showed shifting costs, and a serious lack of integrity overall. Its very hard to believe this shop is a AAA service business & have high reviews. DO NOT recommend this shop!!!
