5 /5 Nick Clark: I Let me start by saying, going to the ER when youre 1800 miles away from home is no joke. But man, let me tell you, this ER I walked into was something else. I didnt even have time to sit down before they whisked me straight into a room. The doc wasted no time and got right to the evaluation. Im talking treatment started within 10 minutes of me arriving. Can you believe that?
But heres the real kicker - the team working there was absolutely amazing. Im talking next-level incredible. They made it a point to remember my name, which blew my mind considering how many patients they must see. Nurse Ashley was the real deal. She had this smoothness about her, like she could draw blood with her eyes closed and still have time to crack a joke. She was like my reassuring sidekick through it all.
And let me tell you about Alex, the EMT who was on break. We talked like wed known each other for years. It was like having a buddy right there by my side, keeping me company during the whole ordeal. It made the whole experience a lot less scary.
Then there was Rochelle, fresh out of nursing school but you wouldnt have known it. This girl was a pro in every sense of the word. She had this calm and poise about her that made me forget about the pain I was in whenever she was around. She handled getting me to CT and back like it was a walk in the park.
And lets not forget Karen, the radiology tech. This lady was pure love and comfort. Her gentle spirit turned what could have been a horrible experience into something so much better. Im forever grateful to have met her.
Honestly, this was hands down the best ER Ive ever been to. Id give it a solid 10/10 and recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. They know how to do things right.
