Bethany lives out “love God, love people” in every aspect; and most importantly the church is Biblically sound. There’s something for everyone from nursery, kids, youth to adult groups. Connor Mahoney I greatly enjoyed my visit to Harbor City Baptist Church this morning. They are a reformed Baptist congregation that has been worshipping here since 1962. Pastor Matt Simpson was friendly and introduced himself to me after service. I learned he previously served as a military chaplain while enlisted at Patrick Airforce Base. The congregation was warm and inviting and enthusiastically sang traditional hymns. Unfortunately, I’m told they will be moving as the 11acre property and historic building have become unmanageable. Sad to here the building cannot be maintained, but looking forward to seeing what God has in store for this church in the future :)
