April Stimson I came here to be seen by a Dr. And everyone from the front desk to Triage to nurses EXCELLENT!!! But one stood out ! HANNAH the young lady that did my ultrasound(s). She was the nicest, most professional girl that I ever had doing an ultrasound. And I have had a few!!! She made sure I was ALWAYSCOMFORTABLE and explained everything she was doing. It actually was a very good experience. A true professional!

Nanciita Irizarry This establishment appears to lack professionalism. The receptionists were discourteous, and the staff members in the back were not respectful of patient privacy. I found this situation to be quite disconcerting, so I decided to leave. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking weight management services or any other services at all. Stay away!

Karen Murphy Where do I start, what an amazing hospital! My dad had a severe stroke and was transferred here for rehabilitation. The staff was outstanding, so caring, professional and attentive! The rehabilitation team was top notch!! So happy with the loving care my dad received and the progress from the rehabilitation was amazing!! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nicole Jacobs This hospital is great. They have awesome therapists that understand neuro rehabilitation. My therapists Kerri and Naggie worked as a team and had me out of a wheelchair kchair and walking in a matter of weeks.

Mayerling Choute Dr. Bass is the best. I had a gastric bypass in 2014 and never had an issue. On March 3, 2025 I needed emergency surgery and once again he came through for me accordingly. I am so grateful.

Katie Dr Bass has the experience I prefer, hes done 2 of my surgeries, one was an emergency surgery and he was thurough, checked in on me often through my recovery in the hospital, and Ill continue to keep him as my surgeon. I have some unfortunate genetic situations with hernias and other things and I absolutely require his knowledge, and abilities as a bariatric surgeon.

Sara Miller I am sincerely thankful for Lee County Medical Center! First of all, the front office staff is incredible & extremely helpful! They help you get all the correct documents you need to be seen, that way you’re not wasting anyone’s time including your own. Dr. Backstrand Is very kind & compassionate! He listened to my concerns/problems & has given me not only my life back, but my faith in humanity. If you really need help then LCMC are the people to call!

Lorraine My Doctor & Nurses as well as the Receptionist are very professional. They all treat me with Dignity & Respect!!! I am very grateful !! They all are extremely nice to me each time I go to my appointment, no matter how busy or stressed the receptionist may be she always has a kind word & a smile for me. She is one in a million. Every one who works there is just the nicest people, they always make my day. I just wish a lot more people could be that way. They are the greatest, warmest People, I have met in a long, long time. Jonathon Magill I write this with disappointment. Dr. Lee is a wonderful physician, one of few that cares about the patients and not the money. The lady who runs the front desk, on the other hand; is rude, dispassionate, and has to be right above all else. Several times I have heard her say “I made that call myself” and “I personally left a message” not once indicating she actually spoke with a patient or listen to their needs. I am in financial hardship, unable to work, with no income. Hearing I am not eligible for assistance, and then being denied even the opportunity to speak with anyone about my options was disheartening. I was told on the phone, by another receptionist, that I could cancel my doctors appointment, and schedule a financial assistance appointment, with the understanding they would at least listen to my case. I wasted borrowed money to show up to my appointment, only to be turned away at front desk, with an argumentative attitude. I guess that’s Lee Health Care; They care only if you have the money to buy their time.

Madelyn Dennis Sharon was fantastic. She read my full history before I even saw her. Always answer my questions and concerns in my chart too. I love the welcome staff and the medical assistant they are super friendly and great at checking in. The room is clean too nothing bad about this place or people

Erica Galagarza You can never call to schedule appointments they immediately place you on hold. Both ladies that work the phones are not great with their customer service skills. They always sound like they don’t like being at work.

Anne-Marie A My mother is at Select now. This is an amazing facility! They are a 60 bed hospital with just about every specialty (no orthopedic or obstetric departments). The doctors are kind, compassionate and honest. The nurses are very caring. The social workers are on top of everything, communicating with everyone. Food service does an excellent job of meeting the patients needs. Everyone takes the time to answer all of our questions. They have included me in their rounds ( on my mothers care). I cant say enough good things about this hospital. Please open a Select in Sarasota!

Rita Broomell I cant begin to tell you the relief I got come here. The care theyve shown my husband is amazing. Theyve been honest and straightforward, with me about everything which I completely respect. The compassion and professionalism of all of the nursing staff, its amazing. I would recommend to anyone if you have the opportunity to come here or send your love one. You will not be disappointed. As far as I go I could never thank them enough for the care theyve given my husband.

FORT MYERS GROUP LLC My dad went to the facility due to strong leg and back pain to this specific facility and was seen by BRITTANEE DONOVAN, PA-C – NPI #1740658368 Physician Assistant who was rude and discriminated against my father for being Hispanic and an elderly man. She didnt even let him tell her how he was filling, she interrupted him, screamed at him and even left the room without seeing him and without provided him medical attention, the person that was translating the conversation felt so bad that she even stayed there and apologized for the so called "doctor" behavior. Medical staff sometimes forget that they ought to be professional and provide attention to those in need, nobody wants to get sick and thats why we pay for insurance, the medical attention is not free and they charge a lots of money for it. This incident could have happened to any other human being in the same facility, we all have bad days but patients dont have to put up with Medical staff personal issues. I will report this discriminatory incident to the County Health Department and the Florida Department of Health as well.

MaryJo Soska Ive had two recent experiences at Lee Health Convenient Care. From the staff in registration to the discharge staff and everyone in between, all were kind, caring and supportive. The wait time to get in the back was only 15 minutes each time. Both times we were seen quickly by nurse practioner, tests ordered and completed timely. They are open 7 days from 7 to 7, which accommodates most schedules. Thank you for your professionalism and support for your patients. You rock!

Gin Nixon The infusion nurses at RCC are superheroes every single day! Kind, compassionate, personalized and professional care is always provided by these angels on earth with grace, humor and humility. I remain forever in awe of these life saving, cape-less superheroes!

Sharon Musterman Extremely unorganized to the point that getting started on cancer treatment and chemotherapy were compromised. Lost referrals, lost medical records when they were sent, pushing needed chemo out by weeks. Went to Florida Cancer instead. Florida Cancer was extremely professional and I had an appointment within a week.

Ginny Maziarka Veterans in mental health crises beware! Unable to accommodate mental health crisis. Unprofessional, uncompassionate, rude Urgent Care physician. Would not discuss immediate need for critical lifesaving intervention. “Make a phone call when you get home and set up an appointment.” Farms out mental health to local Lee Health. Husband and I are both vets. We will never return to this urgent care. Awful and extremely disappointing. We are spoiled with our Madison, WI VA.

Angela Martinez The scheduling department at sante plus is a total disaster, wish there were negative stars and I would grade it mines 100 stars . Had an initial appointment with Dr Velez through tele health on Jan 10 to which they told me they he had an emergency almost an hour after I waiting on the virtual waiting room . They didn’t even call to at least cancel , then today on the 24th same thing the doctor isn’t working today supposedly , this is a total lack of respect to people who need medical assistance. The only reason I don’t use another doctor is because all the endocrinologists are booked for 5 or 6 months . Please have some respect to patients

Mara Martinez This place is a joke. Front desk are not professional at all. Hanging around not greeting patients or asking for required documents. I checked into kiosk then took a seat. No one made sure I was checked in. Sat waiting for a while and seen how unprofessional front desk was and left. Medical staff have strong accents and when they speak it’s hard to understand. You have to be Haitian or Latin to some what understand them. I would NEVER recommend anyone here

Dunia Gonzalez I just had the worst experience ever in this medical office. I have never heard of a PCP (Primary care Physician ) That rejects to see a patient because they have a cold per office manager Barbara Lalanne. To make the story short, I called to schedule an appointment because I have a cold, when I arrived to this office I was triage and right after send back to the lobby after waiting for 20 minutes in the lobby, the office manager told me not until I would get a Covid test I cannot be seen. I explained to her I did get a Covid test at home & it was negative. She didn’t care. She said it had to be a professional Covid test from a professional place, funny how she is basically telling me they are not professional because they don’t do Covid test. After this, she told me they could not see me until they had results for Covid test. I obviously called my insurance right away and put a big complaint. Insurance told me, “Your primary care physician cannot reject to see a patient No matter If you have a cold, the flu or Covid, they need to evaluate you”. They can start praying that I don’t get worse because I have asthma and if I do get worse, they are in trouble. Worst clinic in the universe. I wish I can rate them -0

Desiree J Only wish specialty would call down and schedule blood work!! Instead you go down and wait another hour after your appt!! Not ideal to put aside hours for an appt, on hour 2 now, 1 more to go for bloodwork!! Ridiculous!! Lee health systems are horrible!!

Susan Noonan Took my 88 year old father whom had a scary incident of choking which was the start of his last heart attack to your ER. He had to sit in ER for over an hour and we were treated horribly by gentlemen acting as security guard. Upon entry, he yelled at us to read the sign as there was more than 2 of us. Frankly the last thing I do when scared my father is having heart attack. There are so many ways he could have addressed us. I sat outside and several hours later he was on break and glared at me as he walked by. Why? Not sure why such an angry person would be in this role. I think the check in person also absorbed his vibe as she incorrectly coded my father’s reason and thus that’s why ER nurse said we sat so long. Once we got past front desk, all was good but please train your ER desk on positively treating customers. This was Friday 3/28 around noon. As I sat w my mom late afternoon, I noticed the next shift was more pleasant. Thank you

Katrina Renteria This review is for a lady by the name of Maria who is at the check in desks in the front. I came in an hour early for my appointment and when I gave her my order form she told me she couldn’t check me in since there was some issues with the codes. After waiting over 2 hours and going back and forth with the office that referred me, we were finally able to get the correct codes and faxed to the office. It was a disappointing experience with the individuals at the office who referred me, but Maria did all she could to help me and finally get me. Thank you, Maria!

Ron Swiger The most incompetent pharmacy staff that Ive ever had the non pleasure of dealing with! The hospital in general used to be my go to place. Not anymore! My experience at the ER was also less than desirable! The doctor "accidentally printed one of 4 prescriptions and only sent 3 of them to the pharmacy that I requested. Its taken me over 8 hours and a minor heart attack from stress to finally get the last prescription to my desired pharmacy. Bad care all the way around!! I do not recommend this pharmacy or hospital for any reason.

Charlie Karto This pharmacy is a life saver after hours and on the weekend! Had a sick kiddo who had an ear infection and we saw a virtual doc with cvs at 8pm and didn’t know where to fill script so she would go to sleep. This place saved my sanity and my weekend. Thank you so much!

priscila coutinho Dr. Lili A. Lustig and her staff showed no sympathy nor ethnical standers for my 81 years old mother in her visit today at Lee Health clinic in North Fort Myers location. My mother which have a upcoming last minute surgery need to have lab work done in a timely manner. I specifically called and made the appointment stating the reason for the visit. Got there, no doctor on site, even though medical clearance can only be sign by a physician not a nurse practitioner. Danielle the supposedly nurse practitioner, seems to be so busy (even though the office didn’t have no one seating in the waiting area). She didn’t even bother to go to the room to fully understand what my mother appointment was for. Instead she kept sending the medical assistant back and forth from the room about ten times, which also have no clue about anything and stated “ I don’t know anything. “I just work here”. Since nothing could be done. I ask for the lab work being send with a STAT status. The nurse practitioner stated that Dr. Lustig didn’t feel that was a good reason for the STAT status. Even though have 4th July Holiday in the middle of the week and my mother surgery is in seven days. I plea with the nurse Danielle that the lab results would not come back on time for my mother surgery. She simple replied “well doctor didn’t sent STAT and I’m not going to reach out to her again. She might need to reschedule the surgery”. Without any more to say. I hope her mother doesn’t be in same situation and only then she might be doing the extra mile for someone she cares because obviously she doesn’t care much for Lee Health patients.
