George Williams My mom was helped by the most caring, knowledgeable, and professional young lady, Sabine, with Dr. Ganapathis office. It is was a pleasure observing her train another young lady, with patience, kindness, and a supportive attitude, actually cheering for her success...just awesome.

Sean Blank Dr.Ganapathi was okay, very knowledgeable. In the office, his nurses were always kind. Trying to schedule appointments over the phone made me want to put my head through a wall and then they dropped me as a patient when nobody else would see me because they said someone else could see me. Except, they didn’t accept my insurance. So I went without follow up care for months thanks to that until my current urologist became in network.

Mark Repp As a two year patient I can testify to USF Healths poor care for patients. Multiple canceled appointments by my cardiologist. Impossible to get an appointment even if you have urgent medical needs. Absolutely horrible patient care.

Kaliena Storm I attempted to make an appointment and get basic information prior.to my 1st visit. I am disabled and wanted to know if the clinic could accomidate or had treated other disabled patients. Unfortunately the person who answers the phone for the OBGYN clinic is not only inept but incredibly rude. She could not answer any of my questions. She would not put me through to a medical professional who could. Nor allow for a call back. After putting me on hold numerous times in the 25 min phone call, she still refused to let me speak with a professional or her supervisor. I cant imagine the medical staff being competent either if this is the face of the clinic. Hard pass! I encourage you go somewhere professional. The message was loud and clear, If you have any special needs, this is not the place for you

Nesia Mbow My mom had a great experience here. I brought her to her appointment 45 mins early and they got her in early. Friendly and through staff. Even the security was very pleasant but alert! Nice waiting rooms though the folks waiting were loud on their phones and such. If I gotta go to a hospital then this one was definitely a good choice.

Christine Niehsen I had a cerebral angiogram with Dr. Guerrero from USF neurosurgery department in Tampa General. He was awesome. I was scared very scared. He made me feel ease and his team also was great. They talked to me during the procedure. He talked to me after the procedure and then he came up to my room, and talk to me there as well. I am very thankful for him. God forbid I need another angiogram. I want him to do it.

Vitalie Sapteboi Had to call them to resolve a billing issue. I got some lady on the phone who said I would be getting a callback once she speaks to account manager. I provided them the number to call back and I didnt get a callback. I then called back again after a few hours and was told to wait for a call back. I asked the person to read back the phone number they had for me, and it was a different one. I then told them had I not called back, this would not have been resolved. Person was cutting me off to a point where I had to raise my voice and call her out for bad manners. Not once, but twice! Lets see if this time they actually get it right and actually call me back!!

nono lee This group left me in pain during my hospital stay for 3 days. I had excruitiating stomach pain and was admitted to the hospital. They did nothing but order laxatives and billed me and my insurance thousands of dollars. Then when I tried to switch doctors they tried to keep me as a patient and make it difficult for me to get a new doctor who would actually treat my pain.

Tamy Thayer Wow! Just wow! The ED has expanded into the waiting area so the wait times may be low but holy moly dont expect any privacy. Patients crammed into tiny cubbies with plastic dividers - you can hear everything anyone is saying. And God forbid you get admitted for observation. Youll likely be one of the MANY MANY patients lining the hallways. They have bed #s over any open wall space where they just put someone and then if you ask (and in my case, I had to request it), you can have a plastic divider for "privacy". I can tell you all about all of the cases around me. Dont expect your meds on schedule either and with no call button you cant request them. Cant get help and the nurses spend more time sitting at the nurses station than checking on patients with no call buttons or the like. Honestly I have been in hospitals overseas that had far better conditions than this. The archaic nature of the way they treat patients in the ED is appalling. How this isnt a HIPPA violation is beyond me. And the Fire Marshal - they must have paid them off because there is no way that this is a safe set-up that if they had to evacuate patients in a fire they could do so quickly, easily and without risking patient safety. Also, Im all for young physicians learning the art of medicine but holy moly - the average age of the doctors in the ED must be 29. If you want medical providers who have fine-tuned the art of practicing medicine with experience, this is not the place for you. But if you want an environment where the physicians are well educated by book knowledge and have a lot of "Bulls" spirit - this is a great place to go.

Madalynn Wilmoth First of all id like to say a big thank you to all the staff here. Very clean hospital great housekeepers, great surgeons, nurses, even the people in the cafeteria were welcoming. My 6 yr old son had emergency surgery on a broken femur and the surgeons did a great job, the incision was small healing great. Dr Shau was his surgeon. My grandpa also had a lung transplant here years ago and lived a long life after his transplant unfortunately he passed from cancer, but I couldnt be more confident in this hospital to care for my family.

Ashleigh I dont get why this place has such bad reviews because we love all the USF pediatric locations. Im thankful this office had an opening for my daughter yesterday because they helped her quickly! Let me start off when the service is quick. Usally, I hate getting to appointments super early because you wait over your appointment time. Not the case here. We were here early, and as soon as I sat down, they immediately called us back. Our nurse was Nikki, and she was so wonderful. She was kind to my daughter the second she met her and watched out for her and extremely great care of her. She was even persistent on what she heard and saw what was going on with my daughter and brought it up several times to the assistant physician and doctor. The doctor and the PA, Anne, were on top of it. I was very consurned that my daughters cough was getting worse and I was right. They gave her a treatment that day and sent the medicine as I was waiting to check out, and it went to the pharmacy very quickly. Im very pleased with this office. Thank you for taking care of her the same day!

Donna Jones Its dirty. It smells. I feel like Im in a communist country when here. Their physicians have zero time and even worse, zero respect for patient scheduling. No loyalty here. Churn & burn for that insurance money.

John Green I was recently admitted to the geriatric ward after a failed suicide attempt. They mix extremely mentally challenged patients with those of us who are simply depressed. Within a few hours of being admitted I was assaulted by one of the nurses/security. The lower staff generally treat everyone like theyre crazy regardless of mental state. They tended to be very rude and uncaring. Only the higher ranked staff treat you with compassion and dignity. The food was always served cold. They consistently ran out of eating utensils, napkins, cups, and milk. They take everything from you, including your phone but expect you to get better with no access to music or any other therapeutic distractions. They rely on extremely intrusive and outdated tech to keep track of patients location and wellbeing. The chairs and mattresses are extremely hard and uncomfortable. If you end up here, good luck on getting better.

Mike This is an excellent hospital for psychiatric-Baker Act services with private rooms and professional as well as courteous physicians and nurses. You are treated the same whether you have good insurance or not, and the psychiatrists will ensure the patient is stabilized prior to discharge. Dr. Ranjay Haider is perhaps the best psychiatrist Ive ever had the fortune to be examined by. A sentient and compassionate being. Ive deducted one star, however, because of this hospitals food service. The foods served are fattening and unhealthy and often served at room temperatures. In mitigation, I understand the the kitchen had a fire, is being renovated, and thus the food is being prepared and transported from another hospital. When and if they repair their kitchen and begin to offer healthy alternatives to pizza and fried foods, and serve coffee at least twice per day, my rating would be 5 stars. I was discharged on 1/3/25.

Mike McNamara i won’t give any stars if that was an option. i started coming to see Chelsea Pierra years ago. i was prescribed lexapro and xanax. she went on maternity leave and i won my ssdi case and got medicare. i broke my back in 8 places in2007 and have an intrathecal pain pump that injects morphine and baclofen into my spinal canal so i could tolerate pain to continue to work as Director of agronomy at private golf clubs. i called and went for an appointment to refill my meds. The Nurse informed me the Chelsea was on maternity leave for 3 more months. i asked if she could just give me same scripts as last appointment. they had 2 refills and i could see Chelse when she returned and we scheduled appointment. i went to CVS and it was no surprise that she didn’t have refills incuded. i made an appointment and went back next month for refills again. i asked what happened to refills. i told her i was wasting time and money by coming in. she told me that i just had to call and they would call in my scripts. i went to cvs again and this time I only got 30 pills when bottle says take one tablet by mouth 3 times daily. that would be 30 days x3 a day=90. i called and of course the receptionist couldn’t get a hold of anyone. i called everyday and same thing with no returned calls. this medication you are not just supposed to stop cold turkey, you are supposed to wean off. everytime i got my bottles a different Dr’s name was on the bottle. i was also getting billed for these dr’s that i have never even met. they are committing insurance fraud and could not care less about their patients, as long as they were getting paid. I think the DES should check them out.

Renée V Johnson I had the worst experience at this facility in my adult life. I was referred to this facility after an emergency room visit whereby the findings required immediate medical attention and my primary left the practice. My first encounter was with the receptionist that was rude and dismissive when I was trying to provide information for the doctor on why I was coming in. It was clear she didnt care and cut me off as if I was wasting her time. I let them know ahead of time I may be late due to the flooding caused by the hurricane and she stated she didnt care, rules are rules. I arrived 2 minutes late and they cancelled my appointment. With some push back I was rescheduled ... After seeing the NP, I wish I just left. After waiting 1/2 hour...My condition has resulted in limited mobility, severe pain and possible life threatening prognosis. She acted as if I sprained my wrist. My ER doctor suggested a medical device, home health care, meds and follow up with specialists. I was denied just about all. Not until later did I learn she knew little about my diagnosis, nothing about a required device to mitigate further damage, and as a NP could not prescribe certain medications. So her pride was more important than my medical needs. As a result my condition could become catastrophic between now and when I see a specialist. I left feeling my life didnt matter. Veterinarians treat animals with better care than I received today, which I paid for by the way.

Thiana Pena I had a great experience for my first visit, Im excited to see how the rest go. Great clinic, the reviews had me on the fence honestly but it was overall great! I will be having my fourth C-section and first with them . I love TGH , and honestly like this clinic more than the last one I went to at the actual hospital. They do have long wait times for new patients, but they do treat high risk so its understandable .

Nelly Bell You will be on hold forever just to cancel/ ask a question/ or schedule an appointment. Being pregnant and having to wait this long and counting, is unacceptable. The worst. After two hours of waiting after some lady puts me on hold they’re terrible. How about someone else answered the other line instead of the two hour and more one, with that call i was on hold for less then 30min. I got no reason to lie the photos are there but they gonna block it of course. I requested several times that i dont want to see a certain doctor because of how i was treated plenty of times by them and they still keep putting me with her. The whole building and the staff need an evaluation no one is listening to people’s complaints when they’ve had enough.

Brittney Johnston If you want to be treated like a number and let them take money to do nothing, come here. If you want to wait to see someone 3+ hours after your appointment, come here. But if you want competent service, find someone else in your plan. I had a new patient appointment at 11:00 and didnt even see a doctor until after 230. I had asked for a work release, which Im a cashier, and was given the run around. Then, the doctor hand wrote a note. When I asked her to fill out the sheet work gave me, She refused to my face and said it wasnt a priority. When I was at work, they wouldnt accept it. I called the office and just asked them to fill it out, and the lady on the phone also told me I wasnt a priority. So I waited and checked in the afternoon. Was told to come in and answer a question. When I got there, the nurse smiled and told me "oh sorry the doctor left right after we called you" Like it was some game. When I went back, I was then told I was not supposed to drive, which made no sense, and made to sign something that said that. When i asked how i was supposed to get home since i live alone and drove myself, I was told it wasnt his problem. As much as i dont want to think this, it seems like if your not Spanish, they dont treat you well. Go some where else.
