Do not contact Farr Law Firm if punctuality is important. We signed a contract for $1750 for an estate plan on September 26, 2024 and as of March 7, 2025 still do not have it.
Do not contact Farr Law Firm if you want to have your wishes expressed in your estate plan. We have submitted 3 bullet point lists, a revised previous estate plan, had 1 phone call, 1 personal meeting, and exchanged 3 emails to make our wishes known to Nicole. Her last email said, in essence, that we could meet with her to answer any questions we had (we are not going through it again because Nicole has not yet been able to do this,) but that we needed to sign what she had given us because Florida’s laws require it.
On March 5. 2025, we called to tell Emma, Nicole’s assistant, that we needed to put our plan on hold for awhile because we are exhausted and confused from the effort. Today, March 7, 2025, in an uncharacteristic display of extreme punctuality, we received a bill for the entire amount of $1750 and a reminder that we signed a contract. At this point, we are paying the bill just so we don’t have to try to explain our final wishes again and again.
