Nichole M My hair dresser Patricia was outstanding! First, let me start by saying that when she washed my hair, it was a full head massage. Its very relaxing and just perfect. I have extremely thick and long curly hair. Patricia took about 4in off and layered it around my face. I love the cut and style and highly recommended Patricia!!

Curtis Stelzer My 12 year old daughter had a salon day and we definitely made the right decision! She got a haircut and then highlights and she absolutely loved the place and the young lady that took care of her! Thank you so much to Cutting Loose!

Alexandra Goebel I cannot recommend Nikki @ Bliss Salon highly enough for cut & color. She is the only hair stylist/artists I have found where I can walk in, sit back, relax, and trust that she will take care of the rest and make my hair look beautiful. My mom, sister, nieces, and even my husband go to Nikki for their hair, too. It’s worth the money :)

Kelsey Grammer Melissa did such an amazing job on my hair. Not only was I able to get an appointment with her the same day I called, I could also tell that she takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. My hair looks exactly the way I hoped it would and I get so many compliments on the cut! I will definitely be back to see her!

Tantulei X Im the person that has very long hair because I dont trust hairdressers. With my luck, they always cut my hair too short or not the way I like, and ALWAYS after every visit, I cry and have to wash my hair and style them my way. A few weeks ago, I was so desperate to do something with my waist-long hair that I decided on a cut and chose the Bliss Salon. However, I was scared because I got an appointment with Karlee, probably the least experienced hairdresser on the team. BUT... she listened to me carefully, did precisely what I asked her for, cut my hair as much as I asked her, and my hair looked great immediately - so there was no need to wash and restyle it. I LOVE that place! Also, my son, that is extremely picky about his hair said its the best hairstylist in town (he had an appointment with Melissa). Since then thats OUR place to have a haircut done.

Kat M Whitney is the best!! At another salon I received a bad color and my hair was dyed black instead of brown. Whitney gave me several options and was able to fix it in one sitting. I feel comfortable getting pictures and video made at work now. Whitney is very fair in pricing and flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend Whitney and look forward to her being my new stylist. She’s the best!!!

V Berden My 5 star review is specifically for Kylie. She is absolutely amazing when it comes to my color. She’s never disappointed me or my son. She has fixed other stylist’s mistakes and has always done an unbelievable job. I’m so thankful to have found her.

Kristine Mcwilliams I love my hair! Kylie recently did a color correction on my brassy color and I have never been more pleased. She gave me a beautiful natural looking Balayage. I highly recommend her and look forward to my next appointment.

Julie Harrell I’m visiting from Michigan and happened to come to the salon. I was thoroughly impressed!! This salon really pays attention to details. Each hair wash comes with a 10 minute massage and hot towel treatment.My hair was in such bad shape that Hillary gave me a complementary haircut. Hillary suggested some wonderful products for my hair and really helped educate me about the condition of my hair. I’m actually considering flying in to Sarasota to go to the Salon for my hair going forward. I promise you will not be disappointed at this salon.

Newman- Magician Star (PrettyMagical) I should start by saying I’m notoriously nervous about getting my hair cut — but the moment I walked into Spa Hollywood, I knew I was in the right place. It’s luxurious without being pretentious, and there’s a fun, welcoming energy that instantly put me at ease. The front desk team greeted me with such warmth, and my stylist, Audrey, was an absolute gem. Knowing how hesitant I was, she took her time — trimming just a little, checking in, then trimming again — until we landed on the perfect length. Her care, patience, and talent made me feel completely seen and supported. Audrey is not only skilled, but also kind, intuitive, and genuinely lovely to be around. I can confidently say: this is now my go-to salon in Sarasota. -Thank you!

Bobby Rinko Wow just wow. Amanda is unbelievably talented. My first eyebrow wax and I’m honestly really impressed with her work. The eyebrow message was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. A lot of people noticed a difference in my eyebrows and complimented me a lot so I definitely recommend her for any waxing or beauty needs!

Maria Kriz When I made my appt, it was for a fill, I was sparse, but not completely bare lashed. Amanda, was done in less than 45 minutes, which I thought was quick. I got ready to pay and she charged me 200.00 for a full set, without even asking or telling me throughout the appt that she had to do this. I am extremely disappointed in her lack of communication, my lashes did not look like I just had a new volume set. I paid her with tip. When I went back to my regular master lash artist, she couldnt believe what a horrid job Amanda did. The lashes Amanda put on were subpar. I WONT be returning.

Hanny M Nellie did great cutting my hair. I am happy with the result! The saloon looks clean and comfy. Reasonable price as well. A bit higher from what states in their website but still reasonable. There are few other stylist, they are pretty busy and recommend to book in advance.

Miranda Richard I booked an appointment for 5 PM today. I showed up 10 minutes early, very excited to get my hair cut by Kelly. I saw him washing someones hair and asked what was happening. He said he would be cutting her hair first. I was very confused. I booked an appointment for 5 PM. Who is this woman? I ended up leaving at 5:05 PM. He hadnt even started cutting the womans hair. I didnt want to wait an hour for a haircut I booked days ago. This is incredibly unprofessional and has never happened to me before in all of my life. I am so disgusted. I took time out of my day to come here for an appointment I had on the books. What business does this? Do not come here if you want a professional service. 1 star.

Rosa S I love this hair studio!!! I paid a very expensive salon in town for a simple haircut and it was ruined. I came to Stephanie king last minute and was attended by Kelly. He did an amazing job. My hair looked amazing afterwards and he gave me so many tips on how to take care of my hair. I’m in love! This is my new hair salon. Highly recommend to everyone. Oh, and they’re not RIDICULOUSLY expensive for no reason.

Rebecca Garcia Second cut from Bre and she is amazing. The first stylist I’ve found who can take bulk away with natural looking layers without cutting holes in my hair (if you’ve had a bad layer cut, you know). She’s so patient and considerate, knowing I had just gone through it with my last cut and still have some nerves about getting trims.

My haircut with Mandi had to be one of the best cuts Ive had in years. It was so good, I told 2 of my friends that are also visiting here from Maine. Victoria Panagiotakis I’ve been coming to Luxe Salon and Day Spa in Sarasota for 8 years now. The services are impeccable from hair to nail services. I have never left here unsatisfied. I have done highlights to 2 color processing and hair cuts for very short hair style that is to perfection. Not everyone can pull off a short hair style. Other services include brow coloring and waxing. The nail services include full service and a relaxing experience. I would never go anywhere else. Cindi Lind has been doing my hair for 35 years, highly recommended. This is a very friendly environment and everyone who works here is hospitable.

Jennifer Campbell I love Luxe Salon, they offer hair and nail services. I moved to Sarasota Nov 2023 and am grateful to have found a fantastic stylist: Nila Bliss. Nila’s experience is impressive, doing hair since 2007! She is a kind person, professional, very pleasant, knows what she’s doing and being a proud Sarasota native, she is an invaluable resource for recommendations for restaurants, beaches, events etc. And her pricing is very reasonable.

carmine Perrelli Im 62 and Im a former Canadian politician who has been vacationing in Sarasota since 1990. I am Italian and have never had a haircut by anyone other than a family member. I have 17 family members who are hair stylists. Until recently, I would only allow my cousin Frank Perrelli from Ginger Root hair Salon in St. Charles Illinois to cut my hair. Let me cut to the chase. A month ago, while in Sarasota, my hair got too long and Cousin Frank had to cancel his trip to Florida to cut my hair. Desperate and no family to turn to, I asked a dear friend if they knew of a hairstylist willing to take on a customer like me. Against my better judgement and out of sheer desperation, I got in my car and went to my appointment with Nila. She was about to meet a hair stylists worst nightmare. Not because I was rude, but because I expect perfection. Let me repeat, PERFECTION. As a hair transplant recipient, cutting my hair brings its own special challenges on top of going outside the Family. Nila was being compared to the Top Stylist in the Perrelli Family as the first person in 62 years who was not family, to cut my hair. Dont forget, I expect perfection. Well, I waited a month to post this comment because the true quality of a haircut can only be appreciated in the weeks following the cut. Nila, at the Risk of being excommunicated by generations of Perrelli stylists, your cut was near perfection and you are ranked as good as Cousin Frank. Every time I look in the mirror, Im grateful for your talent and for putting up with me. With your permission and if you will have me, I would be honored if you would cut my hair in future when Im in Sarasota. Just in case youre worried, I have Cousin Franks blessing.

Gordon Sweezy Tiffany did an amazing cut and color on my wifes hair. She listened to her concerns, then worked with her to make it ... well i dont normally compliment her hair for a few days after the cut, but this time...WOW. Every time I leave I love my hair, from the camouflage to my cut. She explains everything I need to do to keep my hair in the healthiest condition. No more hair worries...check Second visit wanted a color with very little maintenance and she BLEACHED my whole head even though 20% isnt even Grey. The end results was damaged white hair, and aware I was wanting a salon to do a Japanese Hair Straightener in about a month or two. Disappointed after I returned home and tried to call her for remedies to no avail. She doesnt stand behind her claims and wont be back

Nonna V. Found Val after the extensive search for the colorist who can do gray hair blending and I cannot be happier. My hair never looked more beautiful, which is a combination of Vals coloring technique and the haircut. She is not only my new go to hair magician but is also my new friend.

Srq Health and Fitness Studio I am in love with this brand!!!!!!! The extensions were amazing….AND The SRQ Hair product line is off the charts!!! My own hair has grown out so healthy and happy. The hemp shampoo made the biggest difference I think! You’ve got to get you some!! In addition, Isle listened to what I wanted. I’m on the conservative side and wanted a low key, easy feeling, low maintenance extension and that’s what I got!!! Isle is spot on in her passion ! I’m on to trying the clip in pony tail next! I can’t wait for it to come, just in time for summer !! You won’t be disappointed in this brand of hair and hair care, I promise! Jen

Brittaney Olson Isle is THE BEST when it comes to hair extension application and knowledge. I told her my goals and she delivered! Ive never had extensions before and was nervous but she made me feel so comfortable. SRQ Hair is the best quality and has been so easy for me to care for. Im also obsessed with the SRQ shampoo, conditioner, hair serum and the Lido leave-in is my favorite leave-in conditioner!! My hair has gotten so much healthier since seeing Isle and using SRQ Hair products!

Rebecca Lorenzo Isle is the literal BEST for hair extensions! I have been wanting extensions for awhile, and finally got them and I’m obsessed! I’m able to wear my hair up too, and you can’t even tell! They are comfortable and overall amazing! The hair quality is perfect and I’ve gotten so many compliments. elizabeth agren Heather has been styling my hair beautifully for years (since even before she opened Tousle Salon). Today, in a pinch because of conflicting travel schedules, Sarah did my hair. Wow! Kia Sarah was so amazing. Sweet as can be. I do double process of bleach and toner and she did both beautifully. She made recommendations to make it look even better. Then to top it off gave me the cutest cut ever! Ive had it take several hours at other salons for the same service but I was in and out and 100% satisfied. I couldnt stop looking at my hair in the mirror. Thats how you know its a great job! Thanks so much Sarah for making me feel and look good ❤️ Will definitely be returning.

Chef Luigi Shatara I just love going to Von Hartsfield salon and getting my hair done by Laytranna. I get tape in extensions and nice rod curls to finish off the look. Always a great time and vibe best prices and great customer service. Cant wait for my winter look!!!

J E Justice Rivera is truly masterful! I brought her a messy mop of hair today and left with gorgeous, luscious locks. She took the time to understand my objectives and then lent her talent and expertise to apply the perfect highlights, conditioning and cut to my curly tresses. Ive been letting my natural gray grow out, so she did not have an easy task! I love the way Justice listens...truly listens. And asks questions. Then, I trust her do what she thinks would look best. The result today was so much better than I imagined it could be--Im ecstatic! Since have started going to Justice, I get so many compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Her approach to my curly hair is totally different from any other stylist Ive ever had. Other stylists would make my hair look good in the salon and perhaps for a day or two after. The techniques Justice utilizes provide lasting care and high style. The products shes set me up with really help at home, too. Plus, Justice is super NICE and I love going to see her.

Pamela Konis Justice is very knowledgeable and gave me the best curly hair cut and style I’ve ever had. I came in with a concern about frizz. I left with my hair beautifully hydrated with lush curls. She reshaped my hair, leaving the length which looks so much better. She works magic. I highly recommend!!

Natalia Pacini Came down for Spring break and needed my hair done for a photo shoot. Timi cut and layer my hair to help shape my face. She then blowdried and styled my hair to the beach waves I desired. Best beach waves I’ve ever had !!! Highly recommend and will come back every time I visit with is multiple times a year.

hmforrester I had a wonderful experience today at this salon. George cut and styled my hair. I know nothing about hair or what to do with mine. Whenever I go to get my hair cut, I always hope that someone will help me know what will look best with my hair. George was an answer to that prayer today. I went in asking for layers but he helped me understand how that would not achieve what I really wanted. He suggested texturing. He also educated me on how to maintain my hair and get more from my natural waves/curls. Ive never been so happy leaving a hair salon. I feel so good about my hair and have some new knowledge on how to better care for my hair. I also want to mention all the other staff and how warm and welcoming they are with everyone who walks through the door. Ive definitely found my home salon.

Marcia Cuttler George is a real professional in this field, an excellent Stylist and understands hair color is very individual for each client. He is very Creative, Courteous, Customer Oriented, and I always feel he is looking out for me. The staff at the front desk is always very welcoming and helpful. I would never think of going anywhere else!!!

Stephanie Reed I was in town for a few days visiting / relaxing. I asked my friend for some recommendations and was told to try Yellow Strawberry. I called up in the morning and was able to get in within 15 minutes. I came in for a trim and ended up donating 9 inches of hair. The salon was professional, clean, and very positive about the donation. Listening to other customers sitting at adjacent chairs it is obvious they are regulars so that speaks a lot to the stylists at this location.

olivia hammer I went to Kaitlyn for a much needed color refresh. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work! I showed her inspiration pictures at the beginning and she literally crushed it - well beyond my expectations! My hair looks amazing, I’m obsessed, and I will be coming back. The salon is also very clean and aesthetically pleasing - loved my whole experience!!

Alyssa Zicolello I never felt so rushed at a salon before. I told my stylist I wanted to keep my hair long and add some movement and she cut it way too short. I was there for 30 minutes (wash cut dry). She didn’t check her work to make sure it was cut evenly. She had two other clients there and I feel like she wanted to make extra money and squeezed me in And rushed to get to her other clients.
